How do I make it so I can use analog controls in an online game?

I got into a couple games but had no choice once the game loaded to play with analog, it was only buttons. I also didn't see anything in the menu select screen either to change this, but presumably I'm missing something...

So I loaded up my first game and I really love it but then I noticed there was no ticker displaying...I went to settings and turned it on, but then on further examination there were some things locked...such as crowd volume, pa volume, and then half way through the game I checked settings again and the pitching view was now locked under settings.

It's almost as if it's in a demo like mode...anybody have a similar expierence?

Those are separate settings for when Music Mode is turned ON. If you turn it on, they should unlock.

As far as pitching view being locked, I take it you were batting at the time?

You can't edit the pitching cam unless you're pitching, and the other locked stuff is if you enter "music mode"

Got it, that makes sense....now I just need the ticker to come up (I am in an exhibition game), settings are:
In game ticker - On
Closed captioning - Off
Mode Updates - On
Mlb.com Updates - On
Friend Updates - On

Can't find an answer elsewhere, so...

What's the verdict on analog hitting, with regards to the left thumbstick? Do I have control over the PCI or not? My own experience so far has been inconclusive.

The manual says you only control Inside/Outside by tilting your the analog stick to either direction on your upswing, but I played around with it a ton in practice checking out the "pitch review" after each swing and it seems real inconsistent. I'd swing inside and sometimes the PCI would end up outside and low. Kind of random and I don't think it was user error, maybe it takes the batter's ratings into account or something?

I love the feel of the analog striding and swinging and also the easy of laying off/check swinging, but until I figure out what to do with the PCI I think I'm going back to Zone Swinging.

I didnt know where else to put this at...but what happened to the Red Tundra that is suppose to be at GABP? In one of the videos posted before the game was released, i swear i saw it. It was in the Analog Pitching video with Chapman pitching... Anyways its not in the game. Did anyone else see this? Or am i crazy?

Okay, when anybody started the game, when they do the animated with the brushing off of home plate, and you hear the charge music, did anyone elses sound skip for quite a bit?

Why would they give the Yankees a first base coach who is 9 feet tall, has a BEARD and PIMPLES on his face, and wears #33 which Nick Swisher already wears?!?!?!?!

If they can't give us Mick Kelleher, just make it some short old white guy wearing #50.

Please....I hate getting to first base and seeing this ridiculous guy who is taller than all my players!

I could of sworn Russell said we could use any of the default preset cameras in game for online. I tried and found I could only use catcher 1. Is that true? I was hoping to be able to pitch from broadcast. Thanks.

I have a question about starting my franchise. I just bought the game and when you choose your team I want to be able to control my team, but allow other teams to handle their buisness but at the same time I want to be able to overide their decisions. So when Im on the team select page and I select to control all teams rosters like last year I know for my team I used to have my custom user profile and the other teams would have no profile . So what should I set the other teams to be so they can make their own decisions but also at the same time being able to control them without having to take budgets off? I know its confusing but if someone could help me out it would be much appreciated.

Also how can I make it so that teams offer each other trades but I can choose whether to accept them or not in order to keep my franchise realistic?

I asked this earlier, but haven't tried it yet...

Create two profiles. One you'll use for your team and one for the other 29.

Inside each Show Profile, you can find the Franchise management stuff (in the home menu screen, before you start your franchise up). Set your trading/lineups/training to whatever you'd like for your team.

Under the second profile, the one you'll assign to the 29 teams, set all of that stuff to Auto.

Since you have 2 profiles attached, you can still step in and veto trades the way you did last year.
