Russel Please tell me how sportsmanship is calculated. I have played 6 games and mine is a 3. I play sim ball i analog pitch and thats hard to control somtimes. Takes awhile to get in a groove, i have completed every game and i dont leave guys in too long, i use my bullpen wisely. Im 3-3 lost some good ones won some good ones. You cant pause to warm guys up or what or to make bullpen changes. A 3? Geez

I threw a no hitter once and still lost the game cause i walked a few in the first then made an error.

A 3? Im about as sim as anyone this has me rather upset.

Only thing i think i do i access the pause through the quick menu, might be lowering the score

Alright I searched and couldn't find anything and read the manual, how do you pick off with analog pitching?

Also how do you determine the speed of the pitch, for example if i want to throw an 85 mph slider or a 80mph

I don't know the answer to your pickoff question, have you tried holding L1 then flicking the stick towards the base to start your pitch?

As far as the speed is concerned, it's in the tutorial video, you press up on the stick at a normal pace to throw a regular speed and flick it more swiftly to put all of your effort into it to get those extra couple MPH.

For hitting - is there some type of classic hitting like there was in last year game, i like the look of the new hitting control. but i like using classic hitting control in last year game. is there that kind in this year game.

Autosave-I was able to turn it off by going to the RTTS screen, changing the Autosave setting and making a separate settings file with the changed settings. It then turns it off for all modes. I imagine after that you would just need to re-load the settings file. You can't turn it off from the main menu.

What do you mean go to the RTTS screen? I've been to it, selected roster, selected player. I can't get to a point to turn off auto save.

Why would this be so hard to do, I'm not a NOOB.

You can't turn it off from the main menu(or I wasn't able to). The 3 default setting all have autosave at on. You have to create a custom setting file in which autosave is off.Go to Gameplay Settings,create a custom settings file with autosave off, make it the default setting file, and save it. It should turn autosave off for all modes.

I'm pretty sure you can. I was messing around with the custom camera at Turner Field, and I accidentally did something to scroll over to the Arizona broadcast cam. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but I definitely switched over to Arizona's cam while I was editing Atlanta's broadcast cam in the custom camera.

Is there still the option for "Quick" play where the CPU throws more strikes and there are fewer foul balls? I was poking around briefly earlier and didn't see an option. There's one for the pitcher's wind-up, but nothing about the overall gameplay.

I never had a freeze until I turned auto-save off, not saying that is a cause, but it happened a couple of times minutes after doing so. ???

Okay, I"m also reluctant to ask this question because i don't want you guys bashing or yelling at me for asking this question.

I am mostly blind and have a hard time focusing. I love playing MLB the show but frusterated by the batting. Isn't there SOMEWAY I can slow the ball down so I can see it?

In MLB 2k I can do that and it helped me alot. For many reasons I like MLB the show better for one thing the graphics are INCREDIBLE! It looks so REAL to me.

But is there anyway I can get the ball to slow down so I can see it better? If MLB 2k can do it I don't see why "The Show" can't.

If not, is there anyway to send this suggestion or request for future games? I love to hitt but when you can't see it's very frusterating. The ball moves to fast.

I hope you can understand where I'm coming from.

Does the pitch speed slider slow the ball down visually?
(I rarely play...I'm a manage only player)
