A lot of work was done on the stadiums and it shows. It really makes a difference to me. My favorite little thing? Being able to have pre game music. I have the star spangled banner playing for every stadium - except Toronto where I have Oh Canada playing. Really sets the right mood for each game.

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
not entirely sure if this is a "Little Things" in the good sense or if it's like little things that bother me but the first few games i played i was so excited because i was in rtts and someone hit it foul and i didn't see the guy on third react exactly how i reacted. since then i've seen on multiple occasions all 3 of the baserunners react the exact same way. i was so happy i thought they got rid of that. guess not.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
THis may have been said, but I love the sweat stains on the pitchers cap. He starts the game with a clean hat and by the 6th inning his hat has a ring of sweat above the bill. Also I was playing the game last night and had 7 strikeouts goin into the 5th inning and the camera kept panning to the stands showing fans place a K sign over the railing after each strikout. Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
Many of the stances are not centered which is a shame because in many situations the stances are correct for that player in real life, and will work for many other players that don't have a preset stance. Also the player is now looking at the pitcher and not 1st or 3rd base.
Below are 2 examples (A. Ramirez and J. Castro).
LEFT - stance preset in the game (what you will see when playing)
RIGHT - corrected stance (the way it was intended)Last edited by ElectricWizard; 03-28-2011, 04:19 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
3rd example same as above. Just something I noticed that would bring even more realism to the game. Otherwise, I could not be happier with the game (after the earned/unearned runs situation is resolved also).

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
I was pitching with Ohlendorf (Pirates) and the umpire's strike zone kept shrinking on him. He threw two perfect pitches right on the edge of the strike zone and the ump called them both balls. Ohlendorf took off his hat and threw it to the ground. I couldn't believe that the ump didn't eject him.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
Just reached the Home Run Derby (which is a blast!) and I was actually hitting it pretty well. But, on one occasion, I swung and missed at 3 pitches in a row. The game cut away to an image of the seven other guys in the Derby messing around and laughing at me. Made me think of the kind of stuff that goes on during the real HR Derby. Love it!Comment

Haven't played a whole lot but I had a balk called with Jhonny Cueto today, I had to replay it over and over but it was a balk, ne never came to a complete stop.NHL: Buffalo Sabres, Chicago Blackhawks

Whenever Victor Martinez was at bat in Oakland, they kept chanting "Overrated!" lol. Just random.Comment

In HR derby, it shows the ball trajectory with an arched yellow line for every HR he hits, and a red line for his longest. Really cool.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
I was playing in my franchise with the Florida Marlins and it was in the 7th or so when the camera panned out and showed the announcers name and Vasgersian said, "As you can see here, the three of us have chosen to take our talents to South Beach as well."
Don't know if this has been mentioned already but it was probably the funniest thing that I have heard in this game.Comment
