I hope not...as I would love to see pop ups about Thompson's '51 Shot Heard 'Round the World......Rickey breaking the SB record....etc.

Well on the postgame when you get to the postgame menu, and you listen to the PA announcer announcing the summary of the game, after saying that, they then say the public metro transit options by the stadium. It differs by ballpark, and I think that is really cool. Like after playing a game in AT&T Park, they say, "Fans just a reminder, there is BART trains availble outside the stadium." Well in some stadiums like Dodger Stadium they just say "Drive home safely" and also in Petco Park, that was mentioned once, and then antoher time they said "Trainsit is avalible outside the stadium (What ever transit they have in San Diego)" So in some stadiums like Petco it changes and doesn't happen all the time. Does anyone recognize this if you guys stick and pay attention in the postgame menu, and I actually posted a thread on this http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-postgame.html . If you don't believe me, or you haven't recgonized this, check it out for yourself, on the postgame menu, stick around, and pay attention to what the PA annoucer says, and after mentioning the game summary, they then annouce the public metro transit options outside the stadium.

            From my 30-team franchise:

Rays @ White Sox, April 7

Sean Rodriguez smacked a single to center and Dave said something to the effect of, "It's fitting that Rodriguez stung that ball given that he was stung by an actual ray last year. Maybe he'll remember the swoosh your feet rule next time."

I'm sure it comes up frequently if you play with the Rays, but a very cool tidbit nonetheless

Sorry if these have already been mentioned.

I think this was in previous games as well but "McCann McCan't get a hold on that pitch" after a wild pitch.

"Up Up Down Down on those pitches. Sounds like a video game code."

playing in my 30 man franchise, I go day by day with real life, and yesterday I beat the Nationals, and today I just played todays game, and one of the announcers made a comment about Adam LaRoche when he came up to the plate, about being one of the guys who went with out a hit in last nights game, something to that effect, it was pretty sweet.

                        ^^Now that's awesome.

I really like how the players in the dugout actually dodge the balls which get hit in there now. 2 thumbs up SCEA!

I don't know where to ask this so I'll post here.

for example, why are the salaries on some of the players are incorrect? Like Tex and Arod should get 20m+ each right? Why are they only on the below 20m? thanks

The salaries in the game are fictional (in fact if you notice, there aren't any $ signs...just numbers). There is an agreement (assume w/ MLBPA) in place that doesn't allow SCEA to use real numbers.

I think you will find that guys that have high salaries in real life, have big numbers in the game...it's just that they are not the same, nor are they "$'s" per se.
