During my Cardinals franchise, a beachball landed on the field and it showed a cutscene of my player hitting it back into the crowd.

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
Some of these may have been said already but I will list them anyway as I didn't have time to read every single post.
1. Pitching at home and seen a vendor selling walking the stairs and heard him selling something for a dollar. Now that's baseball.
2. During home games on a punch out, the Strikeout graphic on the jumbo screens. Never seen it in 10 but it was probably there.
3. The crowd getting super pumped during a strikeout op during a home game. So much so that you can barely hear the broacasters, nice realism. Again, may have been there in 10 but my RTTS pitcher is still in the minors in 10... Ugh!!
4. During a game last night the broadcasters first displayed their next televised game and time. Then, another graphic popped up announcing a blockbuster trade. They said something like "we were shocked when we read the newpaper this morning." Good stuff.
There are others but that is all I can think of at the moment.
I really like that they paid attention to detail for these games. Most sports games keep it just about the game. Little stadium details like the vendors is nice and gives a ball game feeling. I love this game!!!Last edited by chemical360; 07-08-2011, 10:32 AM.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
unfortunately I haven't followed this thread from the beginning and I can't read 55 pages of thread to know if this one has been listed, but it's also way to awesome to not post. Long drive hit to the outfield with the field going back he jumps and the ball bounces off the outfielders head to Vasgersion saying "wait for it what is the ruling on this one...it's ruled a homerun! And better yet what the Canseco is going on down there." I almost fell out my chair! What the Canseco is going on in deed!Originally posted by theenginePlus, there are lots of illiterate Pro Bowlers. Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
I have 2 that I haven't seen mentioned.
One was on a 3-0 pitch to Miguel Cabrera, a pitch that looked like a ball was called a strike, Cabrera was on his way to first but the ump called it a strike and Cabrera went back to the plate. It was a cut scene. Pretty cool.
And, dam, I forgot the second one. LOL,The Positive Sports Podcast~~~Tough Times Don't Last, Tough People Do~~~Ignore The Negativity, Be The PositivityComment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
I was playing the Padres with my Ace pitcher for the Twins last night... I had to bat in that game and as I came up to the plate, I look off into the distance and see a 747 landing in the background.
Needless to say that I struck out. Very nice to add that as I don't think anyone ever would have noticed it if it were there or not.Comment

I don't know if this is exclusive to Citi Field, but has anyone else paused the game and heard the PA announce the ballpark contest winner as M.K. knight row 16 seat 5, aka mr workaround thread himself knight165. Pretty cool thing they threw in there

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
So I was watching the Royals-Twins game tonight and I got the itch to play The Show. I set the lineups and everything the way they are tonight and get going. The Twins starting pitcher Brian Duensing graduated from Nebraska as did Alex Gordon. When Gordon came up, the Royals broadcaster Ryan Lefevbre mentioned that fact. Then when the matchup came in The Show they said how this was an interesting match up because they were old college teammates! Blew my mind. Definitely one of the little things that makes this game so great.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
This has been around a few years and I apologize if its been mentioned but after the games, the PA announcer lets the fans know of the public transportation available outside the stadium. Love the idea. And its accurate for the most partComment
