I still love when a player has to duck out of the way of a high and end fastball only to fly out in the at-bat and then the cut scene of the pitcher and batter exchanging words pops upComment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
I finally got the little things thread comment. I haven't ever had him say it before last night for my own ears to hear, usually I think because I don't play broadcast usually I play real-time without the replays so I think that is why.Originally posted by theenginePlus, there are lots of illiterate Pro Bowlers. Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
I just read through this entire thread (took me a while) and I have been missing a lot of stuff! It's so neat to see how deep the game is and now I'm absolutely dying to get home and play the game!
The one thing I noticed and I didn't see it anywhere on here is that on my game in my franchise on Father's Day, everyone was wearing baby blue colored armbands and they announced happy Father's Day. Incredible stuff.Penn State Nittany Lions North Carolina Tar HeelsAtlanta Braves Atlanta Falcons Columbus Blue JacketsPROVERBS 3:5-6ISAIAH 41:10Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
year one of my franchise, opening day, Strasburg takes a hit to the chin with the ball and rolls around on the ground in pain......out 6 weeks with a broken cheek bone!!! not really good for my franchise but great stuff.
same season, Strasburg retires to a career ending injury (shoulder injury)....unbelievable realism, once again sucks to be me but really cool stuff.Comment

I was playing RttS, and I threw a heater, which was hit right up the middle, and hit me in the face (I'll post the video sometime) and the ball landed somewhere out of my sight and I ran around like an idiot in circles trying to find it before a cutscene of me sitting down by the mound when the runner reached. Then Soup said something to the effect of "I'm not quite sure he knows where he is right now" and then I was pulled. Skull fracture (I think, might have been facial fracture), out for the season.

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
I love the comments about gys being related and having gone to the same college and being past teammates.
One thing I wish the game had is the ability to modify the sleeves that the players wear in cold weather because not everyne wears long sleeves in the cold. You see guys like Lee, Werth and Damon going sleeveless in the cold. Small thing, that I have been hoping fo for a while now. Still doesnt take away from how amazing this game is.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
Yeah I like this one too but there is a small glitch that can happen with it where they call it foul but all the commentary calls it a HR that needs to be reviewed only for them to come out and call it foul, its like dude the homeplate ump already said that. Please I have never seen one that doesn't get over turned and left a jackOriginally posted by theenginePlus, there are lots of illiterate Pro Bowlers. Just ask Chad Johnson....Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
One thing that is a little disappointing is the Game 163 presentation. In my franchise, the Cardinals and Braves were forced to go to a tiebreaker. I decided to at least watch some of it, including the pre-game and the final out of the game. They just mentioned the game as a "one game series" and the postgame celebration looked like one you'd see in a regular season game from April.
It's not a huge deal, but I thought that this game certainly would've paid bigger attention to that.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
There was a clip of Ron Washington getting on the phone to the bullpen the other day in my Seattle franchise. I had never seen that before and thought it was pretty cool.Currently Playing:

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
What i can't comprehend is the player cards. A black skinned lefty pitcher has a player card which shows a white skinned right handed pitcher. It's not important but i don't see how the creator's skipped over that. Pretty much most player's card who are either fictitious or don't have a real picture loaded have this problem.Lakers | Michigan | DodgersComment
