Here's another little thing that just screams "attention to detail".... The lights are on during day overcast and/or rainy days.

I'm too lazy to read this whole post but I was pitching with Halladay last night and the ump missed a strike that caught the outside corner. Karros said something along the lines of Halladay being on the cover of the wrong game or he would have gotten the call. That was pretty awesome.

Don't know if this was mentioned but for Cubs fans/users, when you play the Orioles at Wrigley field and D. Lee comes to bat, the crowd gives him a standing ovation. Lee then acknowledges the crowd and waves before he gets into the batter's box.

                Playing at Toronto.
Blue Jays are wearing their white early 90,s throwbacks.
A majority of their batters are wearing a solid light blue batting helmet, but Snider,Shealy, and Podzesnik are wearing a helmet with light blue and the white front.
Blue Jay fans is that accurate?

I heard Matt V say to Roy Halladay "Maybe he would get that call if he wasn't on the cover of the other game".

i noticed this as well and couldn't figure it out... i realized that the ones with the solid blue helmets are all wearing the new "Revolution" style helmets, the batters with the white fronts wear the old style helmets

when the jays wear their throwbacks, all players wear the old style helmets because the design wouldn't look right on the revolutions

so technically no, it's not correct, but it's the best that can be done without overriding players equipment when using throwbacks (forcing all to wear old helmets)

one thing that bugs me is that the jays powder blue alternates (road throwbacks) are buttoned up, IRL they are pullovers >

                          Quick critiques:

Unless he isn't in the game for rights reasons, Clint Hurdle is the manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Ross Ohlendorf is a Princeton product, not Dartmouth.

I actually had an outfielder drop a fly ball in RTTS never seen that before usually all the errors were throwing from the outfield but this time he just dropped the ball

Yeah… sort of. What nmycon said.

Playing the Rays right now. Soup riles me (Drabek) for sending three fastballs high in the zone to the Desperate Housewife, one of which I lost the release point on. After I got him to swing through one fastball inside, Arencibia calls for a cutter… high in the zone.

I think about it, then send it straight to where he wants it. High heat too, perfect release.

… Five seconds later, Longoria is rounding the bases, I'm scowling at J.P. and I'm down 2-0 in the first. Damn, damn, damn.

Anyway, I've got Davis on third, Lind on first and Hill at the plate. Time to send them home… (not likely since I suck at hitting)

Just wanted to say, I love this game.

                                EDIT: Failed.

Just hit an almost-homer with Snider. Manny's animation as he caught the ball while simultaneously backing up into the wall was really neat.
