Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but ive been playing in my franchise and ive started off pretty hot with Cano and after another base hit Dave Cambell mentioned that Cano started last year hot as well winning player of the month in april and that he is clearly a hot starter. Thought it was pretty cool that they picked up on something as tedious as player of the month in april.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
Not sure if this has been mentioned, butthe best thing I've come across so far was seeing outfielders misjudge hits off the bat. I hit a deep fly ball to center that would have been perfectly judged and caught in '10, but here the fielder's initial step was coming in and he couldn't recover, resulting in a double over his head.
Nice to see imperfect outfielders since they still play the ball off the wall perfectly.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
For player performance, it'll mention the best player from each team, I think. It's about as big as ESPN BottomLine, so one-line stats. I'm sure "J. Arencibia 2-3, HR(4), BB" would fit.
It also mentions trades in your franchise, according to a few people. I haven't seen it yet.Fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple LeafsComment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
OK, I almost fell outta my chair. I just finished a 13 inning game at San Diego, and right after Vasgersian (sp?) says "well take a look at the highlights of this 13 inning game, so long from us etc..." he then says (away from the mic, and towards his fellow commentators) "well there definitely isn't anything open at this hour..." He also said it in a very annoyed voice, as if he had been dying for the game to end.
lmao I love this game. Best game I ownAwesome.

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
new throwing and catching errors.
hit a ground ball up the middle for a single, the cf fields it and goes to throw it to the cutoff man (2b), however his throw is way off line and gets past the 2nd and 1st baseman and rolls into the dugout.
in rtts i was in fielding training and a slow chopper was hit to me (3b). i throw the ball to 2nd to start the double play (bad decision) while the runner is sliding in. the shortstop completely wiffed at catching the ball, unlike in the past where this error would have been airmailed way over his head, this throw was perfect.Comment

Pretty cool how Spring Training games use the same Broadcast cam you see on tv as well, and don't just default to the home team's.Comment

Which is kinda weird that he has em in the game because I don't recall ever seeing him pitch with earrings & just see him after a game with them. I've seen a few players in game with earrings.Last edited by bigdipper88; 03-15-2011, 11:56 AM.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show - "The Little Things"
After a game in my Franchise as the Cardinals I was looking through the box score when the PA Announcer rattled this gem off, "Fans, remember to take Metrolink located on Clark and 8th and also 8th and Pine."
Those are the actual locations of the Metrolink in St. Louis. MIND BLOWN!Comment

Those are the actual locations of the Metrolink in St. Louis. MIND BLOWN!Yeah, I remember the first time after a game at the Rogers Centre, that the best way to get out is the train from Union Station, the subway from Union and St. George stations, and the streetcar on Queen St. and Queens Quay. Actual locations and accurate!

Little thing I noticed today.
I was playing the Giants in San Francisco, and they flied out to right field, and after the flied out one of the announcers said "Your gonna have a tough time putting it in the bay unless you wear number 25"Comment
