Re: Franchise Issues
Dang it!!!figure I'll just post the same post from last year now... So glad you checked this out tbarnes, Atleast we have a fix this year before the all-star break this year LOL!!!
"Training" set to manual for both global and user (30 team control)... This eliminates the 2013 free agent glitch. players still progress and regress realistically, They just don't overload the league with superstars that teams can't afford, players stats will not fall off are nothing like that, and top prospects will become stars. I think that the developers where trying to simulate what would happen if everybody was to use steroids LOL!!! Example-With training in 2016 during my test there was 6 players that batted above .398 and 10 players with 60 hrs. an W/O training highest batting avg. .325 HRs 3 people with 43 two of whom are not even in the majors to start 2010.
P.S. Replace 2010 with 2011 and 2013 with 2014 lol!!Comment

Re: Franchise Issues
Hey tbarnes I know you are busy but when you say you can see trade logic better what do you mean by that. Also I asked earlier but didn't see if you had responded. Is the cpu lineup management fixed or do they still have no idea how to manage their lineups?Comment

Re: Franchise Issues
We have no idea how this popped up again after we fixed it months ago. Anyway good catch and we will fix it.Comment

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Franchise Issues
I have never thought that cpu lineup management was bad. The cpu manages the lineup based on the skill set play x has.
Maybe different than what you or the manager would use, but hey didn't Reyes hit 3 last year in ST with the Mets?
I think the system works if you take names out of the equation.
As far as trades you do not see a ton of trades in May anymore. Teams don't go into a quick fire sale anymore. Look to add pieces or drop.
FA logic is a little weird. I saw one sim Red Sox had Wright and Longoria and sat wright because a RF prospect was DHComment

Re: Franchise Issues
Players will still progress and regress but there progression won't flood the league with super stars the teams can't afford. It looks like Russle is already on it, just hope they can have a fix befre Knights roster hits the servers...Comment

Re: Franchise Issues
Good work again tabarnes but...no need to panic, SCEA are superb at getting quick patches out for major issues such as this so no worries, Ramone will no doubt keep us informed.Comment

Re: Franchise Issues
Not sure this would effect Knights rosters at all. (If that's what you are implying)Comment

Re: Franchise Issues
I know that Ramone was JUST made aware of this issue popping up again, but is it more likely that the fix will be done via patch, or via roster update?
This would determine whether or not I'll need to hold off on a franchise, and possibly inform Knight and Co. whether or not they need to WAIT before finishing their rosters.Comment

Re: Franchise Issues
Lots of level headed people here. Exactly right, no need to panic. I informed Kolbe this morning and he was looking into it. These guys are top notch. They want it fixed as much as we do.Comment
