    Re: Franchise Issues

I love how guys like Kolbe and Russell are involved with this community and interacting with us. They see us discussing an issue, take note, and will work to solve it. That level of commitment to product and customer is awesome.

6 A prospects and Coca Crisp unsigned

          After Year 3
          Clark A pitcher 28
          Kuroda
          Bay
          Lackey

          Kalish
          Marquis

In my humble opinion, if these players go unsigned in the 2014 is not a big deal.
Lackey, Kuroda and Bay are the only "stars", if you want to call them that, but in 2014 they will be 3 years older. That puts Lackey at 36years; Kuroda at 39 and Bay at 36. They can easily go unsigned by that age.

I dont know, just my opinion. It doesnt look bad.

Those names don't really bother me. It's when there is a half-dozen all-star caliber players that don't get picked up and sit in the FA pool all year.

those were year 2. Then the A and B prospect. Basically the same in all tests names change same type player.

Year 3 is the big test. I am in year 3 offseason now with training disabled.

Other than the prospects thats not bad? All of those guys are only worthy of a minor league contract really

But there is always 30 team control again to get things in order.

                  Hey Knight

If you turn off training, do the prospects still progress?

Most trades seem to occur in June closely followed by May. July 3rd with Aug/Sept after. I would still like to see fewer trades in May and more in July. I haven't seen a trade at trade deadline yet.

This is insanely frustrating. Two years in a row of shelving this for several weeks waiting for a patch.

Once you progress a few years in a franchise, good players start to sit idle as unsigned free agents. I think that's the issue, anyway.

Agreed but I am cautiously optimistic because like I said it is only year 2. I have had similar results in all my sims in year 2. Just trying to keep everyone updated.

When I simmed my test dynasties there were 5-8 trades on deadline day...maybe the roster update screwed it up

A lot of trades happen at the last minute. Nothing out of the usual IMO

                                Re: Franchise Issues

Disabling training has "helped." Now here is what I see there is no HUGE names on FA and I went 4 years deep. You will see B level players. The thing that I don't like is the amount of great prospects. On average there are 3-4 A's sitting with 5-6 B's.

Also I know FA logic has been off before, but seems more so this year. An example is in 2014 Philly has Adrian Beltre, Shoppach, DeJesus, Howard on the bench with Zimmerman and Pujols starting. Talk about over kill!!

                                Nice rotation too
