      Re: Longest Homerun Hit? MLB:11

I've hit a few 460-ish homeruns with the aid of really high winds in a game but I never feel like those are all that legitimate. The one homerun that was not aided at all by wind that went really far was in last year's game with Brad Hawpe of all people. It was a franchise game at Jacob's Field. The wind was blowing at about 5 MPH straight in from left field perpendicular to the right field foul line. Hit it into the second deck in right field. Distance was measured at 452 feet.

I hit a shot with David Murphy in Yankee Stadium and it hit off the front of that Mohegan Sun deck in center field.

I don't remember the exact distance but I bounced one off the base of the scoreboard in center with Nelson Cruz at Yankee Stadium. I think it was 480ish and I watched the replay a few times because it was a BOMB!!

It will show the distance in the top right hand corner of the screen on the replay.

                        Re: Longest Homerun Hit? MLB:11

Kevin Youkilis murdered a 77-79 mph Mark Buehrle changeup, high and inside, 479 feet to left at US Cellular.

Longest one I've ever hit in this series of games was in '10 HR derby at angels stadium with Carlos Pena, which went 499 feet. I've never cracked 500 and have been playing since '07.

Most CLUTCH HRs I've had are as follows, in no certain order:

Yesterday actually, walkoff grand slam 2 outs, 2-2 count, 10th pitch of AB off Farnsworth slider

Same game, earlier in that same inning, Ryan Kalish pinch-hit 2-run HR off Farnsworth made score 7-6.

Jermaine Dye walkoff grand slam off Phillies, maybe Brad Lidge, game 1 WS in my 2010 'chise @ Fenway

Dustin Pedroia game-tying HR off some Astros pitcher @ Minute Maid in top 9w/ 2 outs. Score was 1-0 at the time.

ALCS-winning HR JD Drew off Indians at Fenway in 09 franchise.

I had a HR with Ortiz one time in 09 I think it was that hit off the facade of numbers at Fenway in right. The replay said 454 but I think it's longer than that in real life.

That's all I can think of for now lol.

I dont know exactly cause the replay didn't say damnit.

But it was last night. Full count to Bautista and Baird pitching in Fenway, I was sitting on curveball since they always throw Bautista the junk in a full count it seems. Anyway I timed it absolutely perfectly and sent a monster shot over the center field jumbo tron and out onto the street.

There is two screens out there the one at the back of the bleachers on the right and the one left of that. It was the one to the left. It had to be 500 plus feet. I will post a video. This was using TNK perfect sliders on all-star too so no juiced power sliders. It was a thing of beauty to watch. I will post the video later.

I don't think I've broken 500 in this game, even in HRD. I did in The Show '10 though.

My most impressive in-game home run, though not incredibly far, was this 450 ft shot by Adrian Gonzalez:

In Home Run Derby, I once hit a ball off the lights in right field at Minute Maid Park with Josh Hamilton. Yes... these lights:

Do you remember how far it went?

It looks like it would have gone somewhere between 455 - 465 feet, based on this figure:
