No it didn't show it. They showed the replay of the strike zone and the location of the pitch. They didnt even show the ball flight in the replay I had to go look at it. Will have to go to homerun derby and see if I can replicate the same thing and get a distance that way.

Re: Longest Homerun Hit? MLB:11
Well I just did some homerun derby testing and it was ridiculously hard to re create, but I managed to hit a few that were very similar. It would have went 475-485 ish. A little shorter than I thought considering that ball was demolished. I would like to see some of these 490-500 + foot homers guys are hitting cause they must be monsters. Tip of that to the show for making these mamoth blasts rare and so much more rewarding when they happen. These game never ceases to satisfy me year after year.Comment

Re: Longest Homerun Hit? MLB:11
I'm with a few others in this thread- I'm pretty sure I haven't hit a 500ft blast in game in '11. My longest was with...
Melky freakin' Cabrera.
Yeah, I didn't believe it either. 490 if I remember correctly. I hit one 495 with Cano in a derby. Cabrera's was still prettier. I've given up a few 500ft'ers in '11 though. Ha!
In '10, I went 510 with Heyward (derby). Was shooting for the Rogers Centre trophy (off the windows), and Heyward hit a few ABOVE there.Comment

Hit a 440 ft blast into RF at Citizen's Bank Park with Mitch Moreland. The landed about 7 rows up on the 2nd level. It occurred in the Top of the 9th with one on to give us a two-run lead and ended up being the game winning hit.
In the second game, Josh Hamilton hit a mammoth shot 443 ft over the first brick wall in dead center CBP off of Roy Halladay!!!Comment
