I'm trying so hard to wait on pulling the trigger on my next trade(s). I'm about 40 games in but I'm sick of Betemit and Aviles in my Royals franchise.

You all have any suggestions for a 2B or 3B players?

bring up moustakas for 3rd....how about daniel murphy for 2nd?..u wouldn't have to give up a whole lot for him

For some reason the White Sox traded Gordon Beckam and a B potential catcher to Baltimore for Brian Roberts...

What a stupid trade.

With all things being equal, Roberts is a better player then beckham RIGHT NOW...maybe the white sox are tryin to contend this year

Moose will come up when he's ready. Gotta let the kid earn it....and .240 in AAA isn't earning it.

Well, honestly, I can deal with Aviles or Betemit...as long as it's just one of them. I'll just move them around accordingly.

Inge is a no just because....well...because I hate the Tigers. Blake's a little older than I wanted but he might be on my list. I'm about to start my search right now actually.

putting ur allegiances aside, inge is a vacuum at 3rd and has some pop...there's also headley from san diego or melvin mora from 'zona.....as far as 2nd basemen goes, brian roberts would be a good get

I know all about Inge's "Hoover" like tendencies at 3rd, just finished a game against the Tigers. I guess the more I think about it, I would rather get a 2B who can play now and isn't on the decline. As stacked as the Royals system is, 2B is lacking. I love Roberts but I don't know if I'm willing to give up what it would take to get him.

This is what always happens. I get too picky and talk myself out of the trade.

40 games is a lil bit premature...its just that the royals are so power-starved, I would believe that u will need some sort of power bat down the road if u expect to contend....especially if moustakas isnt tearin it up in AAA.....my biggest concern with the royals is their pitching....the starting staff is just downright awful (assuming u havent brought up any of their young guns)

I'm real close to bringing up Duffy as I plan on getting rid of Davies ASAP. Duffy has been great in AAA so far.

You're right about the power thing. I'm more than willing to sacrifice a little D if it means putting some more runs on the board which has been a problem for me so far this season. My pitching hasn't been too awful so far. Hochevar has actually played very well. Francis has been serviceable and I did sign Sheets just cause I like him and, well, I needed the help. Davies and Chen are just arms to eat some innings.
