I still haven't seen it, but don't doubt it exists. I'm only 10 games or so into my franchise and have only faced a closer 3 times. One of the times I got a run off of a home run and then 2 hits after that, but he stayed in to record all 3 outs. The other two were a 1-2-3 and a 1-hit performance against the closer. I hope it doesn't happen to me before the pacth (if it fixes it), but it will be more of an annoyance than anything to me. Not gonna reset the game over it or anything.

Seems very random then.

I can live with it for the short time until the patch hits.

Im just too anxious to start my franchise now, the games been out for a month, the real MLB is underway, ive spent ages on sliders/sounds/waiting for the OS Full Minors...its time to have some fun and actually play the game now, knowing the patch will fix any oddities.

Yes, he confirmed it would be fixed in the upcoming patch

not sure if anyone posted this but this is what i do. as soon as the 9th inning starts and the computer has his closer on the mound, i go into settings, switch the team select and pick the cpu's team, go into there bullpen and sit any Rp that is throwing. i then switch back to my team and im continously checking there pen. last night Rauch came in to close the game, i swtiched to CPU team, sat down both pitchers that were throwing. Rauch gave up a hit and they never got anyone up and never brought in anyone.

so to paraphrase: 9th inning, switch to CPU team, sit down anyone who is throwing in the bullpen for the cpu's team. switch back to your team and PLAY BALL

The only issue being then that if the CPU closer is getting hit around and should rightfully be pulled, they might not do it as no-one is up warming.

Perhaps if he really was getting hammered they may bring someone in anyway, who knows...but yes, a good workaround until the patch.

Just happened to me, down 5-4 against the Rays, Alexei Ramirez clubs a opposite field dong to tie the game up. The Rays closer, Kyle Farnsworth was instantly pulled for Joel Peralta. Very disappointing, I may employ the workaround going forward until patch drops.

Just a quick heads up to say the above workaround of changing team select for a moment to sit down any other relievers warming didnt work for me.

Im 6-4 down to KC, Soria comes in, they have a man up in the pen, i switch to them, sit him, switch back to my team and play. Check their pen...nobody up...good.

I single off Soria...yanked for Robinson Tejeda who wasnt even warming.

Guess we will have to wait for the patch for this to be fixed properly.

Post Patch i havent had any issues what so ever, however I do see the computer leaving the SU man in for 2innings+, but nevertheless!1
