Asdrubal Cabrera bugged?


Wanted to trade for Asdrubal Cabrera in two different season and hes the only player I noticed the cpu will trade for next to nothing. He was taken in the 3rd round of my seaosn fantasy draft and the cpu will trade him for any SS I drafted including ones in the 30th, 40th rounds with C potnetial.

Hes the only player I noticed that very good that cpu will take any body for. Just wondering if its a bug.

I dont get this game or how nobody even mentions the fact the trading is 100% broken. The CPU barley will trade for anything. I can offer a allstar for a scrub and they are not even intertested. And theres always a handful of star players or MVP players the cpu will trade for the worst players in the game.

The way the trading is I can take any team. Give me a hour and I can make that team a all star team because trading is broke.

Im just testing stuff out and grabed a team in franchise and heres a quick example. The team would trade me justin morneau for any of my 15 relief pitchers. Didnt matter which one. But wouldnt trade him for Puljos or any other better players.

I just deleted every off my PS3 maybe im bugged or something. Cant beleieve something like this wouldnt be posted about a hundred times.

Don't know that I'd call it a bug but this seemed as good a place as any to note this. Unearned runs are not tallied right. With two outs and a two runners on, Phil Coke got strike three in the dirt. The runner took off for first and Avila proceeded to sail the throw into RF. Two runners scored and the batter ended up on third. The next hitter got on base and then the next hitter hit a three run HR. My understanding of the scoring rules are that all five runs should have been unearned because any error with two outs results in all subsequent runs being ruled as unearned. However, even if I misunderstand the rule, at the very least the guy who struck out but got on based should have been unearned. yet Coke was charged with all five runs as earned. Weird.

Whats the bug?
Foul balls down the right field line at Fenway Park are often called home runs. Replay clearly shows the ball going right of Pesky Pole for what should be a foul ball. The umpires never go to replay to confirm the call.

I'm not sure anything triggers it. It has happened multiple times in both Franchise and RTTS.

I would like to post a few bugs that I have noticed. I have played A LOT of RTTS and during that time, finished two minor league seasons, finally gone pro and am already at the end of May in about 3 days time. So yeah, every free moment is dedicated to RTTS. My wife thinks I hate her.

I would like to point out that I am posting these in the interest of bettering the best baseball franchise that I have known. NOT to bash the game or the developers. There is a lot that goes into this game I am sure and is no surprise that some things get missed.

Also, since this thread is quite large, I am not sure of some or any of these have been posted before as I haven't had time to read them all.

I will paste the template but definitely note there are multiple bugs contained in this to cut down on different posts.

Whats the bug?

A. During the opening broadcast of a home game, if you are an RTTS pitcher, when the camera focuses on you on the mound, if you have used the chalk bag, it keeps bouncing in the air as if you were using it but your player is frozen. Sometimes, the catcher has been seen on the mound overlapping the pitcher as well..

B. After a punch out when the batter is heading back to the dugout, watch how he holds the bat. It will switch from one grip to another during the long walk home.

C. There is a brightness flux during RTTS games if you are a pitcher. It will brighten then darken periodically throughout the entire game.

D. After a game is over when the camera show the opposing team leaving the dugout, they all of a sudden just all disappear including the crowd. Minor, not a big deal but in the interest of noting bugs.

C. Last night, I beat the White Sox 12-1. When back at the home screen, the score changed to 24-1 and not only that, it was recorded in the stats and noted in the newspaper as well. This only happned once but skews stats terribly.

The Brightness flux and the graphical glitches happen every single game. Never fail, not once and it is surprising that it wasn't noticed in testing?

The statistical error only happened once that I have noticed.

Graphical ones, every single game.

No but am working on a video of the graphical anomalies now.

Whats the bug? Unsure if this is a bug or not? It has to deal with the game time temperature. I know when the info was coming out about the game, it said that latitude and longitude were entered in the game for rain and stuff. Well im the Pirates, in mid July. It says the game time temperature is 61 degrees?? I live here, and i can tell you it hasnt been 61 degrees in SW PA since ive been alive...18 years. Just curious if this is a bug or not, cuz it lookis kind of dumb when all my players are wearing long sleeves in mid july.

Whats the bug?

I was the Rockies, playing in San Diego. Top 8th, 2-2 game. I get the tying run on first and then remember i was going to take Ubaldo out next inning. I start loosening Matt Daley in the pen. I try to hit circle and go back to batting, but a disclaimer comes up saying "you must replace Pat Neshek" PAT NESHEK IS THE PADRES PITCHER! I can't do anything now. I have to restart. :/

I just tried to warm up a pitcher. Idk if it can be reprodcued, this is the only time i've seen it.

Whats the bug?
Not Sure if this is a bug but, When a flyball is hit my outfielder will warp into the catch cirlce once I get close. Only problem is, while sitting in the catch circle my outfielder misses the ball resulting in at least a triple.

Happens regularly for me, 90% of the time is when I use Matt Garza as my pitcher though (not sure if he just gets more fly balls or what)

Average of 1 time every 3rd game (2 times a game if Garza is on the mound)

Anyone having issues just swinging at pitches using pure analog. I can't tell if it is my controller or the game.

If it's not the game is there a way to recalibrate the controller.

Hey, here is a glitch for you, though I am hopeful that it has been fixed or something of the sort. When any player in a game wears a 3/4 sleeve option, the sleeve is all glitchy and looks pretty bad. It takes away from the game and is very annoying. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem...?

Maybe someone can help me. I'm in the year 2013 in my RTTS. Everything has been fine, until now. When I go to "Play Next Appearance" or go into the schedule. The next game shows no starting pitcher and no results, but the game after that shows a "W".

As soon as it goes forward to the next game, it freezes ... I have to shut the system off to get out. I can't go any further. It does this every single time.

Anyone else having these issues? I hope there's a fix, I'm having the season of my life here.

Whats the bug? After subbing all available position players, the DEFENSIVE SUBSTITUTION option was no longer accessible--I understand, I didn't have anyone left to sub, but what about making position switches?

It was in the middle of a long stretch of consecutive games with no days off, so my players were getting fatigued. A 7 run 5th inning rally put the game out of reach so I started subbing players to get my starters some rest. By the seventh inning I was down to 2 position players who I wanted to get into the game (a backup SS: Omar Vizquel, and catcher: Ramon Castro).

In the top of the 7th, I pinch hit Vizquel in Pierzynski's spot (starting catcher). My intention was to then sub Castro for my 2nd baseman, either as a pinch hitter if his spot came up, or as a defensive replacement during the bottom half of the inning. After the substitution, I was going to switch their positions--Castro as Catcher, Vizquel at 2nd.

Top of 7th ended prior to being able to pinch hit Castro for Beckham (starting 2nd baseman). So when I get into the field, I sub Castro in for Beckham. I go back to the menu so that I can swith their positions (which as you know is accomplished through the substitution interface). But, since I no longer have players to sub into the game, that option is not available. I can no longer access the substitution interface, and thus I am stuck playing the rest of the game with Vizquel at catcher, and Castro at second.

So, thinking it back on it, the workaround would be to make sure any position changes are done prior to subbing in the final available position player. Not a tough thing to do...just something you have to be cognizant of prior to using all your position players.

However, on the other hand, if my original plan had worked out...getting to pinch hit Castro for Beckham, then the workaround wouldn't have been an option.

Game freeze. When batting, I had a very odd bit of contact. I either hit the ball off the plate and it ricocheted toward the mound, or I hit a fair ball that hit the pitcher's mound but was counted as foul. Hard to tell because it happened quickly and replay was disabled.

My batter takes off for first but starts to return when the ball is ruled foul. However, he stops at home plate and does not get back in the box. I can access the menu, but any options for replay, fast forward, and the other items on that same menu are greyed out. No choice but to restart.

I have had this happen twice in about 70 games.

It's a very specific type of contact/foul. When I make contact, the view switches to behind the pitcher from the batter cam. The ball seems to bounce off home and shoot toward the mound, but then move back behind the plate. Not sure how to recreate it but have seen it twice.

Rare but so far but requires a restart.

Whats the bug? RTTS/Legend Catcher throws to first with runner on. Runner takes off to second, first doesn't throw to second, pitcher has the ball, runner rounds the bases but no score change and runner is gone, game continues on with no score change or runner on base

Whats the Bug? When editing a player, and i see my mail sign is blinking, i check it, but the game freezes when i go back to editing the player.
