    Re: Did you Know?

Did you know that a player's plate vision will dictate his strikeouts at the plate while his plate discipline will dictate his ability to get walks?

Did you know that a players base running ability will be the determining factor in his ability to steal bases successfully, more so than his speed rating?

Did you know clutch DOES exist?...I know so because it's an attribute in The Show!

Hmm. Sounds like a good excuse to ... um, 'anti-guess pitch' -- maybe.

Did you know that if you login to Sportsconnect you can access the Roster Vault, where you will find roster sets -- both current and historic -- created by other gamers?

DYK, that you can check your opponents abilities from the D-pad up menu? Under "player ratings", it shows the current players in the field, and has icons for 'great arm' or 'great fielder' or 'fast feet' etc. (titles may not be exact, blame my old age )

DYK that if you are not signed into the PSN before you start the show you can not play online? When you go to Sportsconnect it will not let you log in...it will say no network connection detected, you must restart the game to play online.

Did you know MLB the Show is the most realistic sports game in the business today ?

Did you know that in Classic pitching, if you hold down the x button longer it will give you breaking pitchers sharper break but less control ?

Did you know even if you change a players batter stance it wont effect his in between pitch rituals.

...and L3 to display the song title and artist.

Did you know you can control the speed of your fielders with the left analog stick, and that pushing all the way in one direction will make your fielder run faster than if you let up a bit and only pushed it part of the way?

Heh. Actually, it doesn't work EVERYWHERE. You cannot use it in certain screens, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't work during warmup. I know I've pressed the button and it didn't get rid of a song I don't care for.

Which brings up my did you know - Did you know you can go to Sounds of the Game and edit the jukebox, to turn off songs you don't like, or enable songs you have added to the game?

And, did you know, you can't pause the game or do anything else during warmup, except cancel out of the warmup completely?

You can press down on the D-pad and see your infield having infield practice behind the new pitcher

Did you know Season Mode actually goes multiple seasons unlike other franchises that only use this as a "1 and done" mode?

Did you know in Season Mode you must play at least 82 games to have an all-star game?

Did you know in Season Mode you only control the 40 man roster (no minors)?

Did you know you have to wait until the offseason to extend a contract of any player on your team? (sorry if this sounds like a rip to the game, a lot of people ask this)
