(I realized L2 switches views right before the ball is in play, so this makes it easier to decide what to do with the runner... Useful if you are having trouble deciding when to advance with a line drive or fly ball... cannot see this very well from the runner's view.)
Wow, this I did not know. This is going to make rtts so much better.

If you set your backlight to 5 or 6, & take some color out, you'll witness a VERY photo realistic baseball game...it's like your actually watching real MLB baseball

Did you know players that aren't offered contract renewal will end up in the FA list in spring training.

Did you know that the game is programmed so you don't have a more than 4 injuries (if you have 4 men on the bench) in a game? I tried this one for the fun of it and just hit every batter. I got 4 guys to get hurt but after that, nothing.

                      Re: Did you Know?

Since the thread for what we want to see in '12 is closed I'm going to say the service time needs to be fix for a less than 162 game season if possible. I play 29 games and I'm pretty sure by the 4th season in, I'm going to have half the guys still as rookies.

So that's my did you know...Did you know that service time is based on how many games a player has played in the major leagues? To be eligible for Rookie of the Year you must have less than 2.0 service time.

                        Re: Did you Know?

Did you know a pitcher's primary pitch is mapped to the "X" button, his secondary pitch to the "O" button, his third best pitch to the triangle button, fourth best pitch to the square button, and fifth to the R1 button?

This is good to know because the HUD during a game will show a pitcher's repertoire, and when facing a new pitcher you can always see what his best stuff is.
                        All ties severed...

Did you know you can use the GP feature to abuse hit and runs, sacrifice bunts, stolen bases, as well as predict pitchouts?

Did you know that headfirst slides are most effective in avoiding tags?

Did you know that pitchers reveal their pitch type with their grips?

                            Re: Did you Know?

In RTTS, when on base, holding L1 will automatically send you back to the base on a pickoff attempt. You can even press & hold L1 a split second after R1 to increase you lead AND automatically go back to the base on a pickoff attempt. Just get the timing down and you'll be able to do it whenever you want.

I assume he bats from the "Pitcher" view. When batting from this view you can see the grip of the pitch before he lets it go.
