This is a cool thread, but if it doesnt seem likely than owell maybe ps4 like mentioned, HOWEVER when the ps2 Eye Toy can make a snapshot of YOU to put in the game and ps3 one doesnt THATS WEAK, theres always some reason we dont understand, I dont always buy that but owell.

As for people talking about having just the CPU faces as opposed to the real ones, their have been votes on this majority of ppl want the real photos...

Well of course everyone wants the real photos. It's not a matter of want, it's a matter of if it's feasible or not.

There's no easy way to do this with real pictures. Unless DJ Will wants to provide SCEA with all 900+ players photoshopped in every single MLB team's gear, it's probably not going to happen next year (even then, there might be a space/memory issue).

The amount of time it would take SCEA to come up with an automated system to do this with real photos is not worth the benefit you get from it.

Can SCEA just 'blank out' the team logos on the caps if anything? Don't they alter the caps of the free agents to show "MLB"?
So why not, in Franchise/Season mode only perhaps, blank out the caps?

I'd take that, even. Until this is implemented, of course.

IMO that would look absolutely disgusting. I already hate it as it is.

Well, yea...but even for a 'quick fix' until something else comes along.

It's really distracting in a Franchise/Season, when rosters are so jumbled, and team hats/logos are all over the place and just so inappropriate as to the teams and players on-screen.

Another quick fix: Just zoom in the pictures more, and just show the guys faces with the hat logos not showing.

Unless it's an exhibition game...

I understand it's a nice presentation when you are advertising the game.
But I guess I just don't understand why we're forced to look at these guys' faces so much in the game, especially in a mode that allows and promotes the ability to swap them from team to team. The pics just become outdated annoyances.

If they can't have updated hats in the game, at least get players pics without hats.

I know they already don't have hats, but for NBA, they take players pics from the neck up, so you can barely see the jersey(if you can, it's just white anyways) and when you trade them, the player looks like they're on that team instead of making it really look like some sort of fantasy drafted team.

If you guys remember with the face glitch that we used to be able to do, they could just remove the photos that they have and just use the computer generated faces and have the caps changed for each team. I remember seeing a Big Papi shot with him on the A's. I'll try to find it.

Yea I like your idea more, it makes more sense like that, but we gotta think about it, on the screen in the stadiums it will look retarted to see a generated face

You guys are wrong, why do you want to take away one of the real aspects of the game?, I simply love the real life portraits, I want to see the real faces of the players.

Also love the pictures in the newspapers.
