If you guys remember with the face glitch that we used to be able to do, they could just remove the photos that they have and just use the computer generated faces and have the caps changed for each team. I remember seeing a Big Papi shot with him on the A's. I'll try to find it.

If they make all the players like Big Papi, then it could work.

If its a face scan of a player our photo taking feature won't work for them two completely different systems.

You guys are wrong, why do you want to take away one of the real aspects of the game?,

Well, if you really want to look at a picture of the guy, there's a huge one on the player card (when you press triangle). Or you can find thousands of pictures online. But seriously...

During a Franchise, I ALWAYS run a fantasy draft. Even if you don't, by the end of the first season, if not sooner due to CPU trades, NUMEROUS players are not on the default (real life) teams anymore.
So, when you look at roster screens, it takes away from the presentation when you flip through your rosters and see this hosh-posh of team caps.

But to mention the biggest issue I have with it:
Let's say I have been keeping my eye on another team's player. Now, I want to trade him to either my team or another; But through the hassle of controlling all 30 teams and "keeping an eye on" multiple players, you start to lose track of what teams these guys play for, because they don't have a ___'s cap on, they have their real-life Rays cap on, and you can't find them! You have to surf through the whole league until you remember he was on the Reds (example). There is A LOT of roster management done by us Franchisers and the interface alone for the rosters and especially the trading needs an overhaul as well, without the strain of having to surf through the whole league to find somebody (Hello, player finder...)
because they have an irrelevant cap on in a real picture and that because it's real, sticks out more than anything on the screen and therefore throws off your concentration while trying to navigate through rosters efficiently.

How about allowing us to upload our own pics for players, like we upload music and sound effects? I can see why this may be denied by MLB; they don't want people uploading pictures of clowns or something stupid for real MLB players. But it seems like the only solution.

That's not a bad idea either for some purposes, but if I had to load my own pics for every single player and constantly change them for every transaction...eh eh, no thank you.

What do you mean Russel can you please explain?

If we have a face scan of a player which is about 90% of them, we can't have the game create the face as if they where a rookie in franchise mode. The systems don't connect that way.

I'm also in favor of computer generated portraits. One thing I don't understand is why the show is still using portraits for their in game presentation. Look at real life tv telecasts, you never see portraits, not even for batter walkup overlays.

In next years game, I hope they put the ability to customize player portraits, or atleast they update it when trades happen, I hate seeing players in new ball clubs wearing old uniforms, here is an example of what I want.

Lets Say I Trade Ubaldo Jimenez From The Colorado Rockies


To the New York Yankees, I would like them to update the picture



(Note: I made the picture myself, xD Im a good photoshopper)

Wouldnt This be a cool feature? I for sure know I would want this in the game.

(If you guys want me to make fakes for you guys like I did here, you can pm me and I will make it xD, I love doing these) I will post more examples later.

Another Example Would Be:

Lets Say BJ Upton



He gets traded to the Atlanta Braves



It would show that picture, instead of him with the Rays in a Atlanta Braves Roster
