I play this game year-round. Usually I take mini-break when Madden comes out, but once I complete my first franchise I get back to MLB and beat my franchise in that.

I'm still playing. 18 1/2 games out with 48 to play in my 2011 Yankee season. After the season is completed, my PS3 will become a blu ray movie player until March 6th.

You guys that still play, any of you play online? I help run the OS Vets MLB league and we are currently in our last season for MLB 11. It'll be over in 3 weeks but we might need a replacement player to get 10-13 games in. PM me if interested and I'll give you more details. For guys that never joined an online league, this short period would give you a chance to experience how our league is run and maybe you'll find yourself a home for MLB 12.

Since I've been playing a lot of Madden/NCAA, NHL and NBA in the past 2 months, my timing is WAY OFF when I come back to The Show. I'm swinging at way too many pitches out of the zone and on balls in the zone, I'm either way early or way late on my swings.

Game is still a dream to play, but I'll have to play more consistently to get that timing back. I had a season going with the Mets, but since the Reyes deal (not that I was stunned he left, but still, a blow) I may dive into the Fictional Rosters for a bit ... or return to my Seattle franchise, which is in Year 2.

Man, with the Marlins moving, new umps, features, player movement, etc. I can't even play 11 anymore. I tried and realized that Im wasting my time because there is a 0% chance i will play this once 12 comes out. Can't wait!
