It's more a PS3 limitation. Nothing to do with actual PC video cards with 8Gig allocated to GPU. For us porting to PC is an all-you-can-eat bufffet :-)

You mean the current generation of PCs has much higher 3D graphic capabilities compared to PS3?

Sorry for the digression... just curious how much the graphics will be improving for the next generation gaming. (Growing up with RBI Baseball, it has already passed the reality for me.)

I just want them to fix the frame rate issues in night games. The lag that is evident when the ball leaves the pitchers hand needs to be addressed. It is most obvious when using the view behind the pitcher. There is no lag what so ever in day games, and spring training games are great, but the night game issues made me sell the game last year.

Oh for sure new graphic cards are better times 10 compared to the 2006 PS3. If not convinced search for a video comparaison of let say Battlefield 3 PS3 vs PC

But still, PS3 devs use a bunch of tricks to push the old PS3 to the limit. If in some cases you may experience some framerate slowdown it's not bad programming, they're just stretching the limit to what can be displayed on screen ;-)

You should see the faces of the devs when guys like me enter a meeting saying "hey I've digitized a bunch of new terrific, hyper realistic textures for city buildings" :-)

I'm looking for improved presentation, with more stat overlays. While it's always been nice, the presentation is a bit stale, and I'm hoping for a complete overhaul. Just looking for a more realistic, broadcast-like experience.

I liked the idea of the saber-friendly stats add-on from last year, even though most of them were obscure stats. This game should be packed with in-game stats, and perhaps be customizable.

One thing that I hope to see, that I've been wanting for years now, is the seperation of team stats by league. As it is, if I look at the team stats, it's mearly broken down by level; i.e., ML, AAA, AA etc. I would like to view team stats by American League/ National League. Pacific Coast League/International League and so on.

The MLB The Show series is basically as good as it gets until the new generation consoles come around. For now, they should definitely just give the users more customization. Somewhere along the lines of how the All Star Baseball series did with their expansion team mode.

I wonder if they will fix the Batting Practice in RTTS. I think your player should be wearing their WarmUp Jerseys which we know is in the game. And then change into their game uniforms after BP.

Also I don't think you should be by yourself on the field. I think there should be infielders taking ground balls, outfielders shagging and bullpen guys standing out in the outfield just talking and goofing around.

And there should not be a catcher in the cage. And I hope they don't have the starting pitcher throwing to you. It should be one of the base coaches or pitching coach while the Starting Pitcher should be in the Bullpen or in the outfield long tossing.

Now instead of just having Batting Practice for RTTS, I think there should be an option to have a BP for a franchise/exhibition game. Maybe before the game starts you choose who you want to hit with. Either you choose a guy in a slump and you can get him going or pick your favorite player. Or even you could choose to go through the lineup. Where the leadoff guy would step in, take a swing. The next guy would jump in, swing and so on. I think this would be very useful if you are not familiar with the batter's stride and swing so that you can get the timing right.

I don't think this will happen for the same reason that players cannot wear their team uniforms in all-star games. It takes too much memory and will slow the game loading even further than it already is.

All I ask for is better online quality during games and biggest pet peeves with this game is when the game is on the line or it should be a bang bang play you get caught in these slow *** animations. Other than that great game I have read where we will have more dynamic of hits which is another big thing the game needed. One other thing I wish they would add is a slide step for pitching to mix up the timing to the plate so people online don't steal all day on you with the speedsters in the game. But these are just some little things that I would like to see.

I want to be able to export my franchise roster for use in exhibition.

I have friends that I play exhibition with and we both like playing with the most up-to-date rosters. I hate having to wreck my minor league rosters with fake trades and transactions in order to keep the MLB rosters accurate.
