I've been wanting this for years. Depending on the handedness of the pitcher and size of the guy bunting, you can really be at the mercy of whether or not the pitcher throws a strike or not.

It wouldn't be a problem if I could always see the pitcher. But say you're trying to lay down a sac bunt with a righty/righty matchup, as soon as you square you're usually blocking your own view of the pitcher(At least with most of the Catcher batting cams..).

I'd be thrilled if the batter became transparent while bunting. That would really solve the problem for me, because I can pull back my bunt just fine when I can see the pitch coming(righty/left matchup), but I'm usually left guessing.
    Now, more than ever

I would like to see a Tops baseball card for every player with their "career stats" on the back including every team they may have played for. Just like what you would see on a real baseball card.

Maybe you could bring this baseball card up on the select screen when playing.

I think the end of game highlight reel needs to be improved a lot.

The issue I have with it is a lot of they key hits in a game even Home Runs and RBI's are not shown during the game ending highlight reel!

Another issue I have with it is on some of the highlights the replay is cut way too short. Like for example lets say the replay was of a base hit to the outfield and a runner was thrown out at home plate. More times then not the replay is cut off before even seeing the throw to home plate.

One other issue that I have seen is when Automatic replays are shown right after a Home Run are any hit the Jumbo Tron is showing the next batter due up. When it instead should be showing the guy who just got the Home Run with his correct Ball and strikes count. The strange thing is this same replay that is shown at the end of the inning or at the end of the game has the correct player on the jumbo Tron. I think why this is happening is because the Jumbo Tron switches to the next batter that's due up to quick.

Hopefully these issues will be fixed and I really feel The highlight reel and replay system needs a major upgrade!!!

I have a few suggestions to put in:

-IMPROVE the commentary please! get rid of Vasgersian and Campbell and add Buck and Mcarver and have Karros be a dugout reporter.
-New graphic overlays (make it look like mlb on fox presentation)
-They should a weekly show in franchise mode showing highlights and top plays of the week.
-Better presentation (When throwing a no hitter, clinching a playoff spot, winning the world series)
          -3 team trades
-Show external parts of the stadiums at the beginning of the game like fans purchasing tickets, and show birds eye views of the stadium.
-Have a 3-5 minute pre game show previewing the game and starting pitchers.
If these features were added it would be hands down best sports game ever made.

I'm all about trying to replicate watching a real game on tv...i even bat from the broadcast camera view. that being said i would love the ability to remove all help screen, info, pitch types, etc... even if i have to go by memory.

            - for example, when i'm batting from the broadcast view, and not using guess pitch i would love to be able to turn off the cpu's pitch type icons...they really don't apply.
-i'd also love to get rid of the "pitch info" help text...if i need it, i can remember it pretty easily
            - so, long story short, if it's not seen on the tv when watching a real mlb game, i'd love the ability to remove it.

            other random things:

            - i hate when during replays, for example, a sweet double play. just as i'm watching the replay when it gets to the good part it stops before i can see the entire great play.

            - please speed up the panning of the camera during replays...sometimes the replay of the ball being caught is done before the camera can catch up with the play.

-please remove all the white flashes from broadcast play mode. i really like all the cutscenes, but can't stand the white flashes.

            - please provide support for 1080p.

            - please allow analog with zone support when batting.

Haven't read all the posts so don't know if this has been mentioned:

Being able to load a custom roster and start regular season without the worry of rosters and lineups being scrambled if you choose not to play thru spring training

Several options to disable HUD interface icons.

Before, I would only be referring to the pitch icons (at least when hitting) and the corner graphic that says to press Square for power. However, now that I'm a new plasma owner (and I'll be gaming on it), I just want to play the weary card and ask an option to disable the score overlay as well.

I'm not saying to default to these being disabled, but for those who want it off, they should be able to have them off. Much like baserunner windows, catch region/position, or any other settings that games allow to enable/disable (like crosshairs in an FPS game). More options iz better.

I would like a option to display a window with info and stats about any runner that is currently on base.

I just want a quick way to see the names and stats of any runner that is on First,Second or third.

If this option currently exists in MLB 11 the Show I don't see it.

I would like the grass and dirt to be tweaked a little bit with more accurate colors and also make it 3D. I want to see blades in the grass.

With two outs and there a ground ball of a pop up hit to an infielder have the other fielders start to jog into the dugout, instead of having them wait for the out. Pause, then start jogging in.

Also, can we PLEASE get the "dugout steps" obstacle be fixed. So many times, they show a player run back to the dugout, and hesitate. As if they're thinking "Oh God, how do I do these 'stairs' again?"

I noticed that when you the ball and there is no doubt it is a hit, like a line drive to the gap, or a ground ball up the middle, the catcher pops out of his croutch in less then a second and runs into you(nothing happens because of collision detection) but the catcher should sit back in their croutch until the batter atleast gets out of the batters box.

Fix the missing catchers while pitchers are warming up in the bullpens. I've only seen this for user controlled pitchers. Very disturbing playing in parks that have on field bullpens like Wrigley.

When you're pitching using a camera behind the pitcher's back, the info menu that appears when you hit Select ought to display the hot/cold zones relative to the camera. As it is, it displays them from the batter's perspective always.

I don't see why it's considered a negative thing when you're warming up and you throw a pitch that's barely called a ball; it's not a bad thing to throw a pitch in a location like that. It also doesn't make much sense for the variable strike zone to be applied to the warmup pitches; I've had that hurt me several times, and it's a bit annoying.

It would be nice if there were some place in Franchise/Season mode to view players' energies without having to select the next game and almost start it. It would be nice to show the energies in one of the normal menus instead so that it's easier to plan ahead.

Hi guys. This thread is fantastic reading and really whets the appetite for what MLB 12 may hold. I have a couple of suggestions that I will take some time to outline below:

                              1) STATS STATS STATS! Baseball is a game of numbers. It was the reason fantasy sports were invented and there is a metric to measure every single part of the game. I really wish developers would use numbers more in the presentation and gameplay. I know that 2K do a fantastic job with this and I'd love to see Sony follow suit.

There are ANY number of stats that can be added to the commentary/overlays/menus/load screens etc... but the main one that I want to see is pitcher vs batter. How AMAZING would it be if you could see how you fare against certain arms? By hitting 'pause' you could see that Albert Pujols (for example) is x for y lifetime against Clayton Kershaw. Not only would it help you make your lineups, but it would just be a very cool touch that would enhance the presentation greatly.

                              2) I was recently in the United States and visited my first ever ballparks. Although I've followed the sport for 15+ years, I've never been in the US during the season. On my trip I did a tour of Dodger Stadium, saw a football game at AT&T Park and Game 1 of the World Series at Busch.

What I'd love to see Sony do is throw to cut-aways of landscapes, city views and icons of certain ballparks. While driving up the hill to the peak of Dodger Stadium for the first time, I thought it would be awesome if between innings, or before a game, The Show would cut to a panoramic view of downtown Los Angeles. I understand it may be a lot of development work for a few seconds, but just thought I'd throw the idea out there to see how it was received. Of course baseball is about what happens inside the park, but when watching TV, how many times do you see the network cut away to show local icons, people, venues etc.

In Edit Player, the players are wearing their uniforms. The option of a white sleeve a la Carlos Santana or Dustin Pedroia.
