On throws from the outfield, I would like to be able to cut off the ball, even though it wasn't my original throw, this is how it's done in the ML. (I.E throw "through" the cutoff man)... and also, once the throw DOES reach a base, I would like to be able to take control of the receiving player and come catch the ball early...

Example: Runner on 2nd, beats the throw home, the batter/runner is trying to get to 2nd on the throw... I want the catcher to go get the ball early and throw to 2nd, without the tag animation playing even though the runner is clearly on the base

That has been asked for for a few years now. Hopefully this is the year...

There are technical reason why it couldn't be implemented in the past but I'm hoping they addressed them.

The cutoff throw button was in HighHeat games and is also in PYS games so can't see why it is so difficult to implement.

Maybe doing so would actually give the user some control in this game and wreck the beautiful animations?

No need for your sarcastic tone. You have no knowledge of their animation system so making a comment like that is foolhardy.

This isn't thread or place for you to respond like this. Quite frankly a majority of your posts seem to be against The Show for whatever reason. Please stop. Take your grudge to another forum, and leave it off OS.

An option in Franchise Mode that allows you to set promotions on a scheduled basis. This could work for ticket and food pricing as well.

Let the user choose what promotions will run every Wednesday at their park. The user can set prices higher for weekend games, or if I'm the Rangers let me set ticket prices higher for AL West rivals.

It becomes burdensome during a full season to set promotions for each and every home game. I know that is a draw for some, but an option that expedites the process would be well received.

I'm all over this. Have they committed to exact dimensions anywhere? All I've read are plans to move certain fields in an X number of feet.

I guess I'm looking for actual diagrams of the finished wall sizing. I believe they are lowering the height on some as well.

I think the game really needs to see some more realistic looking pitches. The movement on some fastballs is not accurate, nor is there enough. The 2 seamer is pretty meh compared to some real pitchers movement.

Re: pitches. I feel like some are neutered. There needs to be a way to throw a curveball for a low and away strike. Certain pitches just don't seem to "miss bats" as much as they do in real life. Sinkers and CB result in too many pop ups and SPL should be swing and miss more often.

Then again, this could be all in my head.

Well then, it's in my head too! Honestly some pitch tweaks could help aside from the look of the pitch. I feel a bit tired of having to always pitch a certain pitch at this one spot. I feel like some need to "miss the bat" a bit more often for sure. More grounders on specific pitches would really help.

I would personally love to see pitchers with a few more pitches honestly. I know most pitchers throw few pitches, but you do see them at times break out some stuff. Like Lincecum has a splitter that he uses as a changeup for the most part, but I find that the the splitter doesn't really act like his pitch. Maybe a similar pitch selection but with a menu, say pressing x = offspeed pitches, and maybe you have guys with 2-3.

To go with pitching, I'd like the guys to say stuff like "Offspeed pitch, possibly his changeup" or "Here comes the breaking ball!". You hear that stuff in every broadcast but in the game they just say the name of the pitch 100% of the time.

A Playoff/World Series mode as well as a MLB Today feature would be great additions.

I agree 100% that a MLB Today type of feature is needed. I loved playing those daily games in MLB 2K11 because I don't have the time to play dynasty modes anymore
