Even better would be for the game to detect when the gamer throws his controller at something. I assume this can be done with motion-sensing controllers.

Superficial gimmick. If they do it there should be an option to turn it off in settings.

I've heard that the main reasons why managers argue plays was to fire up their team; invoke some emotion. In a video game, a well timed argument could result in a performance boost and vice versa. I could've sworn this was in the MVP series, but I could be wrong.

I've never seen this in any "The Show" games. Is this really in '12???

The level of argument from a call from the MVP series was awesome. It would range from friendly disagreement to an all out Pinella-rage. Was quite hilarious. I haven't even seen an argument in MLB '12 from anyone much less the manager. The only thing I've seen is the "argument" when the middle infielder will drop the ball on a transfer through during a double play and the manager will come out to talk about it. Other than that, they don't argue anything...even the bad strike zone which is very odd.

Maybe they can add it into next years game...I believe it will help make the game seem more life like.

I don't know if it's in 12, but previous versions of the game had an animation of the batter running out to the mound, but never actually showed a fight.

For what it's worth, I was playing RTTS the other day (I'm an outfielder for the Giants' AAA team the Fresno Grizzlies) and there was a 6-4-3 double play. Well, after the play was turned, the manager for the Grizzlies came out and argued the out at second was not really an out due to the second basemen not having control of the ball (this of course was all explained by Matty V.). It had an animation cut scene with the manager talking with the umpire, gesturing and whatnot. There wan't any ejections or anything of that sort, but it was cool to see it nonetheless. Caught me off guard that's for sure. Keep an eye out for it, I don't think it's one of those things that shows up often.

I've seen the managers argue calls before, but have never seen one get animated let alone be ejected.

I played MVP 2004 until the day MVP 2005 came out, and I played that all of the way up until December of 2010 when I tried out 2K10 and two months later I purchased a PS3 for The Show. I LOVED the manager arguments, it brought a whole new level to the game and if you did get ejected the Bench Coach would then take over; removing your ability to control the lineup. Fantastic.

Playing a game against the White Sox as the Mariners and Matt said the manager is out of the dugout, talking to the 1st base umpire about whether the fly ball the CF caught was trapped or not, but there wasn't a cutscene shown of it - only of the next batter or the pitcher, I forget which one. This is an exhibition game.

Yea. Ive gotten that a few times. But, one that i did see this year that i havent seen was the other team had a nice diving catch in the outfield. And the announcer said my coach was coming out to talk about if he had control or something like that.... i was pissed that he caught it so i was just pressing x. Lol. So i kinda missed how it went down.
