Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
Yes! CoPa is looking real nice! They had corrected a lot of the things already, but I got to sit down with the stadium guys to get them even more true to the park. I won't spoil it, just let you see it and see what you think. I did get them to add Sparky's number and a tribute to Harwell, too. If all of the request make it in, we are in for a treat.
They actually literally caught me as I was leaving the studio today, to make sure they had it right! These guys are the greatest really. Dedicated and damn good at what they do.
Great to see a tribute to Ernie makes it in too, cant wait to see this years CoPaComment

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
We actually noticed the light towers in RF were not lined up behind the "standings" pole.
So they are going to try and adjust that. Most all the stadiums got some nuances and tweaks.
There will still be more to be done. But that is the great thing about the feedback threads. They do monitor them. And had a LOT of changes done based on them.
Made our jobs easier.
Thanks for your hard work and thanks to Sony for continuing to tweak things.NFL: Tennessee Titans

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
1. The TIGERS at the top of the scoreboard missing the main orange color
2. The walls not being the correct green
3. The railing on top of the right field wall is missing
4. The doors behind home plate are now plexiglass, not netting
5. There is an advertising sign at the point where the railing bends back in along the first base line that is missing in the game.
6. The fountain has many problems. The sign "Admiral Motors" should not be flat, it has depth. The flag poles should be farther back IN the fountain. The flags should not be American flags, but are really World Series Flags (35,45,68,84)
7. The items on the scoreboard (Comerica Park, ie) should show depth, it is not painted on.
8. The tunnel behind home plate is wrong, it should be thinner and have a smaller sign.
I hope some of these were noticed.Last edited by canyonblue; 01-20-2012, 01:18 PM.Comment

Not a Rays fan at all, but living in Tampa Bay I feel an obligation to ask. Will the strobes that flash on the catwalks of Tropicana Field as well as the post-HR horn be in?Comment

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
Question
You know how currently every stadium in MLB 11 The Show has the team logos scrolling on the LED ribbon boards. Has Sony said if they plan on using the real life LED ribbon boards in all the statiums with the Stats included instead of continuing to just have the team logos scrolling? In real life there are all kinds of Stats that appear on these LED ribbon boards and not just scrolling team logos.
Would be cool to have them in MLB The Show

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
I hope they caught most of the mistakes. The ones that stand out to me are:
I hope some of these were noticed.
1. Fixed. (As well as made the font taller.)
2. Fixed.
3. I may have missed this. Not to say it wasn't updated (I'll ask)
4. I mentioned it, didn't see the latest version before I left. Also, requested the scrolling ad to the left be made a little shorter than the door padding.
5. Fixed.
6. I'll have them check the depth "feel". They do know that it's not thin; the championship flags may not be possible (I'll ask) - that's an old pic, btw.
7. Fixed.
8. That may not be possible this year because it is a structural inaccuracy that effects the entire seating in that area. Something is being done with the ad, to make it appear more true to life (same with Turner Field's tunnel.)
And to do you a few better...
- Lamp post were added below the tiger's feet on the LF scoreboard.
- The "Pepsi Porch" in RF was updated to better represent it.
- I requested the larger 345' marker down the LF line.
- The "tigers.com Get Tickets" text was added to the rear bullpen walls.
- I tried to get the RenCen graphic updated too, along with the steam coming from behind the DAC, but that is technically outside of the stadium.
I think that was the major stuff I covered. Unfortunately, it will have to be redone for '13 once the Tigers finally unveil the new CoPa renovations on opening day, lol. Anyway, we are pretty accurate to last year's ballpark.Comment

I have been playing the MLB 2k's since it's inception, and purchased a PS3 in November primarily for The Show! I have not regretted that decision one bit. Thanks again for your hard work...GO TIGERS!!!
