Did you join just now to show me your awesome internet muscles?
I'm so hurt.
I know what I read ......
Do you know what you read?
Oh...and Ramone doesn't need a car. I chauffeur him everywhere in between bringing in his dry cleaning and polishing his shoes.

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
Me personally, its not that big a deal. Sony has done this before with their other products Move etc. They push them to the moon and make sure their studios infuse as much as they can of the new products into the games. As long as they dont forget their core customer base, its no big deal. I will say though, if it was a choice, I would have made the Florida stadium a closed roof. I mean it rains there all of the time, it was part of the whole reason of getting the new stadium and since that stadium had to be built from the ground up anyway why leave it open? (If it is)Comment

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
On the topic of the Move....I am not a huge into it, although I will say my son loves it. He is 7 and I have tried getting him to play baseball with me and he doesn't have the interest to watch a REAL game. We played HomeRun derby last year with it and he loved it. This year we will play a whole game.
If it helps him get interested in the game of baseball and something I can do with him, I'm all for it.
On another note as a PE teacher I prefer to have my kids up and moving to play a video game than just sitting. So I'm all for it in that regard!Comment

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
Are some of these posts really necessary, or are people truly inconsiderate? If it can't be done, it doesn't mean it'll never be done, the resources simply cannot be allocated since there are far more pressing issues unfortunately, but to act coy is really bothersome, especially towards people who have contributed more to the game than you have. Most of you doing this just happened to pop up this year.
To others, sorry for going off-topic in this thread.Last edited by BatsareBugs; 12-14-2011, 01:21 AM.Comment

Progressive Field Fixes
I was unable to include photos in my initial post of updates/fixes for Progressive Field. This link has many wide-angle photos of what the ballpark looks like from various areas giving some pretty decent looks of what the pavilion area and Heritage Park in center field look like, as well as the dugout tops, skyline, etc. http://cookandsonbats.mlblogs.com/20...eld-panoramas/
It's hard to find decent pics online of specific areas of the ballpark but I hope this is a decent point of reference to start with. Thanks.Comment

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
The Detroit Tigers should be announcing their upgrades to Comerica Park pretty soon... Unfortunately, it will probably be to late in the process (like Minute Maid Park last year) to get them into the game. Good news is, most likely the upgrades will include a "view-mongous" HD display on the LF scoreboard.

I am not really impressed by any of the changes/additions etc. I'm personally looking forward to 2013 when hopefully there will be more baseball game competition!Comment

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
Good luck with that. What ? You think EA Sports is just gonna come out with the ultimate MLB game their first year back ? Beside them, who else could even rival MLB The Show ?Comment

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
If you haven't checked out these two threads they include panoramic shots of all the stadiums in the game. If you are wondering if the Texas Rangers upgrades have made it in post pictures or videos of the upgrades here.

Re: Stadium upgrades for MLB 12
MVP baseball was the best baseball video game ever. You could look at it as an advantage that they've had so much time off to make an even BETTER video game. Maybe they're not bogged down by worrying about the "1 year cycle". I can't wait for MVP 13 (or whatever the title may be). EA had mini-games and other nice features if you didn't have time to play a full 45min game. Right now all MLB TS has is HR Derby... no arcade-style mini-games. Although making the HR Derby an online feature would be an improvement.Comment
