Personally I think the Vita is a waste of money and don't see the point of buying one in the first place...it will only get phased out in the next year anyway by the next "latest and greatest thing."
Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?

You could easily say that any "luxury" item is a waste of money.
A PS3 is a waste of money
A nice car is a waste of money
Blu Rays are a waste of money
A TV is a waste of money
Blah blah blah.
You pay money to be entertained. Nobody has the right to say that someone is "wasting money" because they chose a different form of entertainment. It's all about choice.
The only "waste" of money is not spending money.
And that's the truth.Comment

Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?
I got the Vita after learning the 3ds was a big mistake.
The Vita has converted me to a Sony guy in less than 1 week.
I got it in large part because of The Show. I plan on playing on both platforms. I love the fact that I can play my franchise on boring business trips/road trips etc...
Does anyone know if I am required to initiate the file sharing from the PS3? Or can I start the franchise on the Vita? I am getting the games today, but leaving for vacation immediately.Comment

Alright. Another Vita / The Show question.
The PS3 version copies data to the PS3 hard drive. Does the Vita version require this? Are the save sizes similar to past PS3 save files?
The prices of Vita memory cards are turning me off a bit, especially if I need to use them to store game data as well as game downloads. I get the piracy issue, but the prices are really going to turn off some people from downloading games.Last edited by sbauer318; 03-06-2012, 06:12 PM.Comment

When I first popped in MLB in my Vita it said it was installing so I assume yes. I don't know hom much data was taken up however.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Yes, I also bought the vita to play the show 12 anywhere. I just don't understand the individuals who belittle the Vita solely on price reasons. It's an amazing piece of tech whether or not one can afford it. I actually played the Show 12 on the vita before popping in the PS3 version. The vita version's graphics are stellar, because this is my first portable gaming device I can't compare it to the PSP but after playing my first nine innings all I know this game and console are like buttah.Comment
