Wow this is weird...

It's not that weird, really...3G isn't exactly reliable all the time (or fast), so they just want to make sure connections are stable when pulling stuff in and out of the cloud, IMO.

If it was 4G, it'd probably be different (but so few locations have it). And remember, all PSVita's have Wi-Fi, so they can all use the cloud service.

That makes sense if 3G is that unreliable... don't know the size of save file this year, but 22MB (for 11) too big? Not sure.

The only issue is that WiFi isn't universally available. If you aren't near a WiFi spot you are out of luck, thought it isn't a big issue either since if you want to use the cloud save for franchise transfer, etc., then you most likely have WiFi at home for PS3.

That is for the save that is done server side within the confines of the game. Which is understandable. Since you have to do it all through the SportsConnect.

I am sure you can do the cloud ones from XMB via 3G.

The Show is the only reason i'm gettin a vita. I bought the 16gb memory stick today, gonna get my vita when I buy the games on tuesday Gonna be an expensive day but I can't wait!!

Edit: Changed my mind and went out and picked up my vita about an hour ago! It's pretty cool so far, just want Tuesday to hurry up and get here lol

Ive been back on forth on the vita.I watched alot of reviews and basically was won over.thought about getting one on craigs but i didnt want to cheap out and have it bite me later.so i went to gamestop.got the 3g/wifi bundle.299 plus it came with a 8gb card.plus a case.payed off shows.im really hoping the 8gig card is gonna be suffient enough for the show.thats the only reason i bought the thing.i have alot of down time at work so i figured i could eat up some innings.anyway brought it home and was very impressed.setup was easy breezy.the graphics on the drake adventure game really blew me away.if your on the fence about it i can see why.but this thing is really a portable entertainment device.its well justified in the pricing for me.if i could do it again i would just get wifi one and buy the card seperate.the bundle is misleading.''over $55 value att&t data session a downloadable game'' the games are weak ar card games.not my thing.i thought it was atleast gonna be a free full game.sorry kinda made this a story review.hope it helped some one.anyway im just pumped i made the plunge and now march 6th is getting really hard to wait for!!

So went and got my vita this morning. Very impressive so far. Can't wait till April/May now when ill be on holiday in the states and will be able to play the show straight away instead of having to wait till I get home like I usually do!

Anyone having second thoughts now that some initial impressions are up? I am somewhat concerned. It sounds like the game is worth it ($39.99) but if you bought the Vita to play The Show it really doesn't sound like it will be worth the $300 plus expense. Granted, I am enjoying Uncharted right now. But I had been saving for an Ipad3 and gutted that fund when I saw the videos of The Show on the Vita. If I was wrong, I have my receipt...

Granted, I am enjoying Uncharted right now. But I had been saving for an Ipad3 and gutted that fund when I saw the videos of The Show on the Vita. If I was wrong, I have my receipt...

The Show had a big influence on my decision to buy a Vita, even if it wasn't the only reason. I've played very little so far (a few practice sessions and an exhibition game) and I'm very happy with it - I know my PS3 time is always limited, so this is probably going to be perfect for me. No second thoughts here, although the whole 'will the cross-game saves work for those of us in Europe' thing might be a bit disappointing.
