    Just got back from Best Buy (Santa Rosa, CA) & got a few innings in. One of the CD guys used the word "weight" when describing things, I couldn't agree more. The players move slightly slower & the ball seems heavier? Not sure how else to decride it? Ball, baserunner & fielders speeds are all improved...

    The ball physics are immediately noticable! Saw poorly hit fly balls into the gaps & corners which SHOULD have been & WERE caught. Saw harder hit fly balls into the gaps for easy doubles. Saw a poorly hit, slicing away from LF fly ball which fell just out of reach & softly rolled into the OF corner...

    Played in KC & Hosmer & Moustakas look nice! Off-topic: Couldn't believe how closely represented these two players were when created in Knight's "11" rosters!

    Answering my own question I posted a while back for the CD guys... NO, after playing around with "12", I can't go back & now play "11"...

        I'm going to keep calling around the Southern Ontario area, but I doubt we'll get it. And I don't really want to play it because then the itch will get harder.

        But at least I'd get the Jersey Table finished earlier.

                                Oh! This is a huge addition! I always zeroed out the fielder's sliders so that their movement would be a little more realistic even though they were still too fast. But it did help a bit. Nice to know that this is something that was already thought about and added in. Thanks Knight for the heads! Later

                                    That's exactly what Pared and I thought and did at the Community Event when we played our co-op game vs. Nem and 42.
                                    We had the lead...but wanted to sub out for defense later in the game because of the play he(Duda) couldn't get to earlier in the game...that wound up going to the wall rattling around and being a triple.

                                        They have it at the best buy in springfield il. i went in and played it this afternoon, and i must say from a huge baseball fan that still plays 11 religiously as if it was still new, it does have a new feel to it. the thing that stood out the most was the type of hits, as in all the previous games there would be a lot of slow rolling singles up the middle by the pitcher, and that drove me nuts! In 12 there are a lot more line drive singles into the outfield. I played a few innings and went on to play in miami's new park and it looked great. The animations and presentation are defiantly something that stands out this year. Another thing i noticed in the game were the swing types, when i was playing i wanted to try and jack homeruns so i used the power swing, and the bigger guys like Allen Craig, and Mike Stanton drop their shoulders when they swing and miss, it looks like they are really trying for the fences. After a few innings i decided to look at the edit player feature and there are 4 different ways the brim of your hat can be, 3 different cleats, 3 different batting gloves. The graphics have improved as well, and they look great, you guys are going to be pleased this year.

                                            I think I will pass on going to Best Buy to test it out. I would rather have that little-kid-in-a-candy-shop feeling in the safety of my own home then out in public

                                                I try this every year. I try not to go onto OS or Google MLB The Show but every year i fail miserably. It just isn't possible.
