In 12 there are a lot more line drive singles into the outfield. I played a few innings and went on to play in miami's new park and it looked great. The animations and presentation are defiantly something that stands out this year. Another thing i noticed in the game were the swing types, when i was playing i wanted to try and jack homeruns so i used the power swing, and the bigger guys like Allen Craig, and Mike Stanton drop their shoulders when they swing and miss, it looks like they are really trying for the fences. After a few innings i decided to look at the edit player feature and there are 4 different ways the brim of your hat can be, 3 different cleats, 3 different batting gloves. The graphics have improved as well, and they look great, you guys are going to be pleased this year.
That's the one on Veterans Parkway right? I'm thinking about making the drive there one evening this week.

[quote=kountryfolk10;2043398175]Here is Bay, Davis, Fenway, and Seattle Thanks for posting your pictures. Putting "The Show" logo right on the Big Green Monster wall in Fenway is a travesty. (As if already having billboards in the stadium wasn't enough).

What I'm curious about is if the bad OFs take bad jumps or angles to the ball. Some OFs are bad defensively despite speed and it would be cool to see him take a wrong step initially before trying to track down a fly ball.

Yah, but what's that say about "user control"... I love that this title is so good that we can wonder about an OF's first step.

I know. That could lead to more complaints over animations taking over and preventing user control. But I don't know another way to implement defensive ratings in the OF other than speed.

One option (I think 2K had something simular) was to not show the landing area right away for the lower rated players. The lower the rated the more delay in showing it. And maybe having someone who is really out of position (Not in their 1st or 2nd positions) have the landing area not show up at all or waaay late.

It would have to be an option though or we'd see many compalints.

Yeah man. It's possible anywhere. On my honeymoon in Jamaica, my wife and I talked to quite a few people from Philly. Pretty cool. I'm in the suburbs about 20 miles outside of Center City Philly.

I'll probably be up in Plymouth Meeting on Tuesday or Wednesday so I'll be stopping in there then. I pass right by it on my way back to the PA Turnpike to go home.

I'll probably be checking out the Willow Grove Best Buy on my way home tomorrow to see if they have it set up as well.

Being in Canada, the chances of this getting displayed before release is in the slim to none category, so I'll keep reading the impressions of the lucky few who do find it south of the border.

I'll take solace in the fact that I will very likely get the game the Friday before release though Naturally, I wouldn't hold out on you guys. Full blown impressions from me at that point, maybe even ratinga requests :P

So could it be at Best Buy they don't have rumble controllers setup or is it it turned off on default?

That is very possible. Best Buy, or any store for that matter, use sixaxis, because they are cheaper. I think it was kountryfolk that mentioned that his BB only had sixaxis controllers on their kiosk. I also think he said they didn't have the display set up correctly either.

One place that I know uses DS3 controllers, and this may be another place to check for the game if you are near one, is SonyStyle stores.

LOL, it's crazy that people flock to stores to get an early look at the game (and ask crazy request of people who are actually at a kiosk playing it.) I think that's definitely a testament to how good it is.
