Is there really a lighting upgrade? I remember them saying they could not get in a major lighting upgrade this year, because of their enhanced time with the Vita. This is pretty important to me, I'm seeing guys saying there's a noticeable lighting upgrade, can someone confirm? thanks..

You can get whatever you desire IMO with the right settings. You really have to play out many many games to actually see. I don't sim and sim and check stats so I'm basing everything off of playing. I'm in a test franchise now (I'm walking guys!! woot!) and after a month I'll look at stats for the whole league.

Thanks man and yeah I am talking about actually playing the games..I figure that the sim stats will be fine. i just dont want to have the majority of runs coming off of homers

There is definately a lighting upgrade, everything pops now the colors the overlays it flows really well.

Do you have the option to play with/without a DH in exhibition games? For example, can I play a game SEA @ OAK with no DH?

So.. I'm sure this has been answered before, but I am completely happy with last years Show, is it a must to upgrade to this years? Does it feel like a completely different game, is it that noticeable? I appreciate the answers..

I couldn't even think about playing 11 after playing 12. So yeah it's worth it. Total understatement too... lol

Huge understatement. The game is well worth getting trust me if you even like baseball a little bit this is baseball gaming bliss.

Not in exhibition but you can turn the DH on/off league wide in season/franchise mode.

How is homerun derby? Any different than last year?

Runs a lot faster because of the new broadcast presentation, that's 1 thing I noticed. Ball physics, like someone else mentioned earlier in the thread, also improve the overall feel. Hoping it runs real smooth online.

Question:

Do the 'Career Vs.' stats dynamically update?

Pineda led the AL in wins in my season. Not sure about the Career Vs stats updating, I didn't keep track or notice anything to be 100% sure. Maybe those stats only come up once the player has enough at bats against the pitcher. Someone else with more knowledge of the franchise mode could probably answer that better than I can, if they haven't already. I did jump into a few games during the sim of the season to check out the new presentation stats, which are really nice. I posted some in the picture thread.

Also depending on the pitch confidence, each pitch will have its own individual pulsating circle size and speed. So for example a pitch that your pitcher is not doing well with will pulse faster and be larger than a pitch he is doing well with. Also a pitcher's ratings will have affect as well as difficulty in regards to size and speed of the pulsating circle.

Didn't know that. I'm going to try my first full games (not counting CD) with pulse pitching today. All Star to get a feel again before jumping to HOF. Only got to try it a few times during that week because I wanted to play the game the way I normally play it (meter pitching). I liked what I saw enough to give it a real try now though.

Can anyone who has the game post a video of the mets playing the yanks at Citi Field.I know someone posted a mets braves gameplay video at Citi and it was great, i wanna see a mets yankees one, too. If any of you have the time or are up to it, can you use Jon Niese for the mets as the starting pitcher. Thanks a lot.

Whats the limit this year for sounds of the show, last year was 499 is it the same this year? because I like to give every player their appropiate music,

also does anyone know if the last name requests made it in? If you dont mind can you check if there is a "Uceta" in last name options? thank you

HOF for both Timing hitting and Pulse Pitching
but modified sliders. Will post them when I'm close to done.

Just picked up the Vita today (no PS3 version available) and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to set up a custom hitting camera. Is this option available?
