Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
^^Look in the manual or go to the controller settings during the game. It will tell you everything you need to know.
Go to sportsconnect and it will ask you right away to download the latest roster.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
Hi all,
I just bought the game, thankfully I have a very understanding wife. Living in Europe has plenty of pluses, but The Show is really the only way to get my baseball fix.
With the franchise improvements, is there a pressing need to use 30 team control? This was a real downer from MLB '11 and it sucked the joy out of the part of sports games I go for. Has anyone seen some wacky trades or bizarre free-agent moves?
Cheers!Super XV: Crusaders
ITM Cup: Canterbury
MLB: New York Mets
Bundesliga: FC Schalke 04Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
Dunno if this has been asked yet, but I can't seem to find any way to view League News and/or Transactions in Road to the Show mode. Is there a way to view, for instance, the roster moves that the big club does while I'm still in the minors?Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
I have never done spring training before on the Show or any other baseball game cause I always wanted just to get to the season. I wanted to know for those that do spring training : How long to you keep your starters in the game especially pitchers, because I don't want them injured before the season starts like in real life so to speak , hopefully, ( Or does even matter when playing season only not franchise ) thanks.Last edited by BSUFAN; 03-07-2012, 08:34 AM.When you come to a fork in the road, take it..... Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
Maybe I'm missing it or I'm just a moron but is there a easy way to see exactly what players are on which teams, (example MLB, AAA, AA). I know if you go to manage roster you can sort by league but I could have sworn in 11 or 10 that you could go to manage roster and press R1 or R2 to switch to say LF and then you could use the RS to swap between your affiliates. That doesn't seem to work this year. Is there another way to get to it?Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
QUESTION: if you have the PS3 and Vita versions and you want to download rosters (Knights for example), will the rosters transfer over to the Vita? do you need to download them for the Vita? can you download them for the Vita? will there be different rosters for the Vita? or will there be no User Edited Rosters for the Vita?
get my drift? need to know about the cross platform franchise roster options to make a buying decision.

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
Is there an online version of the user manual somewhere? I just switched over to the Show from MLB2k series and while I enjoyed the game immensely last evening, I am lost when it comes to baserunning and some of the other controls. I am currently at work and would love to read some instructions so I can be prepared when I get home this evening.
Thanks in advance.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
I love the new stats that pop up about last years league leaders and what not, and lifetime batter vs. pitcher stats. My question to someone who has maybe simmed one season and started playing the second season. Do these continue to update throughout a franchise? (updated batter vs. pitcher stats, and league leaders from 2012 as opposed to 2011).
i was trying to do this.
played a couple games, watched a couple.
but i haven't seen a 'career vs. pitcher' overlay yet.
as for the second part, are you saying u want to know if in the second year of franchise, will they show an OSD showing the top Home run hitters from year one of ur franchise?
if so, or even if not, i'll check that out.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
Anyone else seeing a small bit of stuttering in the framerate while fielding? Just curious as I put my PS3 on a different TV and am wondering if it's the TV or the game. Made one of the bedrooms a game room so I could game while the wife watches TV downstairs. She gets the newer 63" plasma and I game on the 46" DLP (I'm starting to wonder if the DLP is causing the stuttering).Comment
