How often are you all seeing injuries real-time? In most sports games (including past editions of The Show) you really only see injuries take place when you sim. Are you all seeing someone getting taken out of the game due to baserunning, cleat spiking at second, or tommy john-esque injury while pitching?

During a Spring Training game, I hit a grounder to first, 1B threw to the pitcher. I was called out but then you could see the SP limping and had to be removed.

Yep, they are in there. Was playing a game with the Giants vs Reds and Lincecum had something wrong with his shoulder after a pitch. He kept swinging his arm around and it looked like he was in pain and had to come out. Thats the only injury Ive seen in around 10 games played though.

in RTTS with move controller, is there a way to watch the play and not just my player running??
Playing with the controller I just press L2 after hitting and I watch where my ball is heading, but with move controller I can´t do that and it´s really annoying

            yep.
I've had Russell Branyan get injured diving back into first after a pick off attempt.

Does anybody know if there is a way to see transactions in RTTS? I can't seem the find the option anywhere? I am playing on the Vita. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread

Hey guys, getting this game Monday and I just had a quick question about RTTS. I'm sure it's been asked before, but I didn't want to search through 93 pages to find the answer.

Anyways, in RTTS will your manager still bench you after stealing? For example, in 11 I was told by the manager to stop stealing without being told or whatever. Later, I got the sign for a hit and run, so of course I went to steal. The batter swung and missed and despite successfully stealing, I was moved to the bench after the game despite being told to run on the hit and run.

Like I said, just curious if this was fixed as I know I'm not the only one who has had this happen to them.

In previous years editions, that sequence was squeezed, and the pitcher was automatically ready to throw the ball and the batter ready to hit after a foulball.
That was annoying because the pace of the game was jammed due to this, it was too quick.

I hope it's different now. Could somebody tell me ?

I want to play a TV broadcast like game as real as possible.
                  Thanks.
Has not changed. It still skips time.

Last year, if a pitch was in the dirt on ball four, the catcher was usually charged with an error. Has that been fixed this year?

Also last year, if you were playing in MoM, they never called a balk on the pitcher (at least that I saw). Has this been fixed in 2012?

How do you check the "mailbox" at the bottom left of the screen next to the select button?

***I figured it out as I initially did not realize you had to hold the select button down.

I believe it's select. Can't remember off the top. But surely you can just try every button once.

Obviously I was was using the select button but I did not know that it changed interfaces when you did so.

I thought by hitting the select button it would select between the three options(Help, Mailbox, and The Show Shop) at the bottom of the screen rather than just "activating the hot bar" which you then navigate by using the directional pad or left analog stick and using the "x" button to activate your selection.

Next time I will apologize in advance for asking a question in the helpful Q&A thread.
