I am asking about the music for MLB12 ect,I generally don't like the music they use for the games period and turn it off, since I am new the series I turned it off in MLB11 and there was no music just commentary. My question is : If I turn all the music off does that effect the stadium music or walk up music ?? I hope someone understands my question here I know it sounds kinda dumb, thanks for all the good input here, Tuesday can't come soon enough!!!!

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
2012 Sounds of the Show (SotS) are the same as every year. And to answer question, turning it off does effect in-game music too, sorta (I'll explain how in a bit.) What you should have/can do is edit your 'MLB Soundrack' by toggling off the songs. That way, you still get the audio clips when on the menus. Also, what makes SotS so great is the ability to create your own soundtrack and have it work seamlessly as the default soundtrack. (back to explaining the sorta) There are also slots in SotS for in game events too, the default walk up music (hiphop, rock, etc.) is not a part of your custom jukebox, but any music that you add is, and is effected by music being on/off. Hopefully that makes sense to you. You can really get some really authentic sounding broadcasts, using SotS. And if you'd rather use your own music while in the menus, custom Soundrack is second to none. I'll post a clip shortly of one of my videos from MLB 11 - with full SotS usage.

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
I have never had a huge problem with it to begin with, and I am in the same thought process of the devs that keeping what they have and adding to it, is likely the best solution as people will get sick of whoeve they have in there. By adding to what they have every year, they may end up with a really dynamic and deep commentary system soon, more and more every year.
I only played one game last night and plan on bailing from work early today to play some more, but I heard enough new that it made me smile. I can't wait to delve into a franchise since it sounds like that is where they have added the most.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
In MLB 11, I know I (and others) zeroed out the pitcher control and pitcher consistency sliders, because on default CPU pitchers seemed to throw far too many strikes (and the balls they did throw were too often borderline)
Is that the same in MLB 12 or are CPU pitchers on default sliders throwing a more realistic ball/strike ratio?Comment

Also, earlier in this thread, someone was asking about the Batter's Eye Bar in Cleveland...I'm about to play a game at Progressive. Where do I look for this bar?Comment
