Do the Yankees have the correct first base coach this year? Or is the 9 foot tall Mexican Giant back for the 3rd year in a row?

Hopefully the first base coach is Mick Kelleher, or at least some old white guy wearing #50 who resembles Mick Kelleher.

Not to be a nit picker, but it kinda ruins the game for me when I get a single with a guy like A-Rod and I get to first and my coach is so tall he makes A-Rod look like a little kid. lol

I realize most sliders are a personal preference, but do you think there needs to be slider adjustments this year or will it play well with default sliders? The only frustration I have with this game is how long it takes to get a slider set that gives you realistic results before you can start your season. Some posters last year were playing over 30 games before settling on a slider set. It would be nice if the same slider set I used in 2011 would work in 2012 or just be able to keep everything on default.

Also, do the difficulty levels seem the same as last year? I played on HOF last year for both hitting and pitching (timing and meter) and am hoping I can do the same this year.

I know that co-op franchise mode has been confirmed for online play but can you play co-op in offline franchise as well? I live with a friend who plays the show as well and a co-op franchise would be awesome!

So, hate to report, but it looks like the Pitch Speeds are the same. At least not noticeably slower on 0 Pitch Speed. On HOF Zone, I can hit on 0 Pitch Speed but anything above 1 or 2 is a struggle, just like last year. All-Star Zone default Pitch Speed was a bit much but at 0 it looked very similar to 0 Pitch Speed in 11.

I think that the solution is to go to Veteran, zero out the Pitch Speed and work your way up from there. As you play more, you will pick up pitches a little quicker and the new camera angle seems to be a help with some of the other guys on picking up pitches as well (though I don't care for it much myself, FWIW). You and I played on the same Pitch Speed in MLB 2K11 so I think over time, we'll be around the same in this game.

Also, I use Analog hitting and default All-Star Pitch Speed was fine for me. It seems the Analog hitting system is a little more responsive than Timing and Zone. Too early for me to make a judgement on ZAB at this point.

I'm batting AS with pitch speed at 2 and so far so good. I'm usually at 0 pitch speed. I use zone BTW.

Thanks for the responses. This does scare me a little but I don't need that much of an improvement - just a small amount. 0 was too fast for me last year. With the new camera angle this should help me. Still buying it blind on day one.

Can someone quickly note down the name of all the Spring Training stadiums included in the game and put the list on here?

Its so i can put together my own "Spring Training" Exhibition plans before i get the game Monday...

It is still the same. I asked at the event if they could just change it to an older looking person and they said they would look into it. I guess it could not be changed in time.

I am asking about the music for MLB12 ect,I generally don't like the music they use for the games period and turn it off, since I am new the series I turned it off in MLB11 and there was no music just commentary. My question is : If I turn all the music off does that effect the stadium music or walk up music ?? I hope someone understands my question here I know it sounds kinda dumb, thanks for all the good input here, Tuesday can't come soon enough!!!!

There are subtle differences in exhibition games but you will hear most of the changes in franchise mode. that is where it is most dynamic.

Not available until Tuesday when the servers go up and we can enter our online pass codes for the online portion of the game.

And also it would give some an unfair head start since this is a ranking based mode.

If you go into the "jukebox" and uncheck every song, it will prevent them from playing in the title screen menus. Stadium sounds, etc. should still play with this method.
