I've made quite a few trades so far... just to improve the ranking of each position or to get rid of players that were doing very poorly:

On 5/8 I traded C Ryan Peters to the Mets for P Jon Niese
5/9 - Traded C Taylor Teagarden to the Phillies for P Jose Contreras, C Vance Guerrero and LF John Mayberry

    5/10-Traded P Darren O'Day and 3B K. Startup to CLE for 1B Travis Hafner, P Robinson Tejeda and P D. Diaz

5/11 - Traded Mayberry to MIA for P Carlos Zambrano and P Anibal Sanchez

6/10 - Traded 3B Josh Bell, P Anibal Sanchez and LF J. Yoshii to BOS for P Daniel Bard, Vincente Padilla and M. Rylander

6/20 - Traded Bard and LF Will Gray to CLE for P Mike Gonzalez and P Josh Tomlin

I had him up on the big league club to start, then I sent him to AAA because of some reason or other, don't remember why and difficulty is All star.

I still can't hit to save my life, it is atrocious.

I traded for Soriano, called up Rendon (sent Desmond down to AAA, move rend on to 2B and Lombo to SS) also made Jesus Flores my #1 catcher

          SOme notables:

          Laroche- .223/.270/.319 1HR 5 RBI
          Zimmerman- .260/.273/.458 5HR 13RBI
          Mike Morse- .289/.336/.454 4HR 9RBI
          Bryce Harper- .163/.171/.327 3HR 7RBI

          *In the Minors:
Tyler Moore has been raking, he may get a call up

Ian Desmond seems to be righting the ship and he could be back in the bigs by the end of the week

Gerrit Cole continues to be on a hot streak, he could fill in as a long reliever or take over for the struggling Edwin Jackson (1-4 5.220 ERA)

Zach Duke Will most likely be called up and Gorzelanny will be sent down, Duke is 5-0 with a 2.73 ERA, he will take over the long reliever role

I now start a couple series on the road against the Pirates and the Reds. I am hoping to take 5/6 games
What did you trade to get Cole?

If you aren't gonna use Jones, why not trade him? I mean you have yourself, and Jones would be great trade bait.

I wonder if i can make a run at the wild card. Right now in my Yankees franchise i'm at August 16th i believe i'm a few games below .500 and 19 back of Tampa Bay. I'm only 7 back in the wild card and have been making hay as i am going for the four game sweep of the Rangers tonight at the stadium. Up next are 3 game sets against the Red Sox, White Sox, Indians, and Blue Jays, all ahead of me in the Wild Card. I gotta make a run and finally seem to be getting clutch hits as we're 8-2 over the last 10 games.

My Rockies bullpen is having a bad week. Three blown saves in the last six games, including last night, where I gave up 6 runs in the 9th to the Dodgers and lost 6-5.

Just like in real life, I think the continual use of the bullpen is starting to affect how these guys are pitching. My starters only last 6 innings, 7 if I'm lucky. I believe Nicasio and Guthrie each started the 8th inning of a game, but didn't register an out. Having to use 3-4 guys out of the 'pen every game is tough.

Offensively, Cargo is having a heck of a year. Batting .300 with 6 homers and 18 RBIs. Tulo is starting to come around, as he's back around .250 with 3 homers and 11 RBIs. I bumped Chris Nelson into the No. 2 hole and he's really responded, batting over .400 in his last 5 games. Dexter Fowler is now hitting in the No. 8 spot, as he is in a major slump and if he doesn't break out of it soon, will be replaced by Tyler Colvin in CF.

Todd Helton is also scuffling at the plate, so I may consider platooning him more with Colvin/Giambi at 1B. On the days Colvin plays 1B, I may have Eric Young Jr. play CF, just to have some speed at the leadoff spot.

The team is hitting .215, which is actually an improvement from where I was a week ago. Still last in the league in most offensive categories.

Record is 10-12, 4th in the NL West, but only 3.5 back of the Dodgers.

I'm about to start a Nationals Franchise, and I'm pumped. I've only been playing RTTS since I got the game, and been a pitcher. So I haven't hit in forever and I feel like I'm not getting the full experience so I'm about to start a franchise.

I played game 1 against the Cubs and got out to a 2-0 lead off of a Bryce Harper home run.

I was feeling good until somehow the Cubs bombed Strasburg for 5 runs in the first 2 innings. Stras wound up going 6 IP, with 5 ER, but that was enough for the Cubs and I lost 5-3.

Just began my franchise with the Rays. Got swept by the Yankees and then lost two of 3 to the Tigers. The homerun ball and sloppy defense are biting me right now. Opening Day, Shields just didn't have it early. Gave up 3 hits to begin the game and then gave up a 3-run homer to Teixeira to go down 3-0. He settled in till the fourth when Teixeira got him again. Shields finished with 5 innings, 7 hits, 5 runs, 4 walks, and 7 strikeouts. Texeira got another one in the 8th to seal the deal, Yankees win 9-1.

Game two: Lost Desmond Jennings for 2 months with an ankle injury after a stolen base. Called up Brandon Guyer to take his spot.

Every other game has been pretty close. Having fun with it.
