Just turned 33 two weeks ago. I've been gaming since the Atari 2600 days. We've certainly come a long way.

I'll still take the Paste-Bay duo from Bases Loaded over anyone in virtual baseball. Those dudes could mash.

36 years here... long long-time baseball fanatic (I mean, like borderline obsessed) and ex-third baseman, who has definitely lost a few attribute points due to regression. I can't count how many windows we broke growing up, playing in empty lots, or the street even. I now coach my youngest son's 4-5 y/o t-ball team. Ironically, my oldest son (18) hates baseball, lol.

As far as video baseball games, you name it, I've had it (from Major League Basebal to Bases Loaded to Winning 9 and Homerun Battle 3D on my phone.) I think the first one that had me hooked was Baseball Stars on NES. As for The Show, I've been playing since MLB '98, at which that time a was a major fan of GameBreaker and GameDay football games.

Im 21, first baseball game was World Series Baseball for Sega Genesis. I loved that game.

25 yrs old. I've played the original MLB series from 989 sports, All-Star Baseball, MVP, and now the Show

And since we are all being so honest with our ages here I thought that I would ask another question. If you create yourself in the game, what age do you make yourself?

LOL! I always create myself as a 27 year old late blooming 3B who throws righty but hits lefty. That is me IRL (except the age). I throw myself into the free agent market.....and sign myself to my determined franchsie team. This year.....it's the Marlins.....and I will trade Hanely for either a stud CP or SP. Screw Hanely. He is a lazy overpaid cry baby.

I also always create my son (he is 7) as a young 18 year SP prospect in RTTS.

43. I had Intellivision. I also had a brief flirtation with Strat-O-Matic; but soon started playing Pursue The Pennant/Dynasty League Baseball [the guy who designed those games was from Wisconsin, like me]. I now play The Show and love it. I have a very understanding wife...especially considering we have a little girl who's not even a year old yet [read: needs lots of attention]. I promise, I do take care of them and reward myself with some gaming.

22. I have been playing The Show since day one back in '06. I can still remember the day I first played it like it was yesterday,and I can't believe how far this game has come. Best baseball game of all time, hands down.

Forgot to put I started playing the Show with MLB The Show 09, I can remember it perfectly. I was saying to myself I needed a baseball game. MVP had been cancelled for years so I had no clue what the new baseball games were. Looked on my psn friend-list happen to see someone playing MLB 09 The Show. I said let me pick it up and give it a shot. Got it later that day came home and fell in love. The only problem I had with it was the Dustin Pedroia cover, my Yankee pride couldnt handle that after dealing with Manny on MVP 05.

I thought that MVP 05 was the best game by far because of the minor league teams that you could play but then somebody one the MVP forum started talking about Knights rosters and I checked them out. So I didn't find The Show until 2010 but I've been hooked since. Thanks Knight and everyone else who chips in on the OSFM project.
