Game usually freezses up on me whenever I play RTTS and i either make the last out or get the last hit of the game and it drives in the winning run.

Last couple of days its been crashing whenever i hit the ball while batting in RTTS. The cinematics have players "floating about" for a couple of seconds and then the screen freezes and the Ps3 doesnt respond.

Yes, every player has their own batting helmets. Some teams mandate that everybody wears either the old or new helmets, and some teams give their players a choice. Players decide how much tar to put on their helmets. Most guys have a clean helmet, but some guys like Manny Ramirez go nuts and cover the entire front of the helmet in so much tar that you can barely make out the team's logo. A few players like Shane Victorino use a dual-flap helmet, but most players use single-flap helmets.

Heck, some teams like the Giants actually have the players' names on the back of the helmets.

Whats the bug?
My RTTS isn't working.Whenever I try to load my RTTS, there is a different icon for the RTTS data other than the usual MLB The Show icon it says after an attempt to load "The data is corrupted." And it happens everytime!

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it?
I do not know how it occurred, I turned my PS3 on and went to MLB, then I went to the game modes menu and selected Road To The Show and selected my loaded version and the logo was different than the usual MLB The Show logo for things saved in MLB 12 The Show. Lastly, after it tries to load, it says the "The data is corrupted."

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every time I attempt to open my RTTS

WHAT'S THE BUG?

Franchise Manager Mode. During the game the manager is making bad decisions and it is costing me games. If I can't stop this guy from making decisions there is really no reason for me to play your game.

It's the top of the 8th. I am up by 1. 2 outs. The Rockies get a double. No problem, there are 2 outs. I decide to pitch to Cuddyer. We've had his number all series. Mr. Computer decides to walk Cuddyer. That brings up Helton, who procedes to hit a 3 run home run. Now, I would be disappointed if I had made that mistake, but I didn't make that mistake. Your computer did.

The bottom of the 9th. My leadoff guy (Markakis) gets a single. But he's a little too slow to run him, so I pinch run Lastings Milledge with the intention of having him steal second. I have a good hitter at the plate, so my plan is to get Milledge to second with no outs. Then I will drive him in and win the game.

Unfortunately, Mr. Computer decides to lay down a sac bunt. So Milledge is at second, but we have given away an out and my good hitter is now sitting on the bench. This makes the act of pinch running Milledge a complete waste of time, and it wastes my good hitter's bat. Mr. Computer's decisions are running completely against my strategy.

Can you see that there is no point for me to play this game if at key moments in the ballgame your computer is going to completely blow up my decision-making?

Something else I would like to bring up is simming games. I have looked at the results of simmed games and I have noticed 2 things.

1. The results seem to be completely random. I have steals by my slowest players, guys who wouldn't be able to steal a base with a gun.

2. The games seem to represent a different playing style than the one my team was built for. I built a fast team, a team with fast runners and high contact/low power batters than can bunt. We play a National League game, with lots of sac bunts, stolen bases, and singles. When I look at the simmed games I see home runs, almost no stolen bases, and almost no sacs. Well, that's just not my team.

So what I'm saying is that I should be able to select a playing style that represents my team. If I sim a game it should sim it in my playing style. And if you can't get rid of Mr. Computer, you should at least force him to make decisions that corespond to the type of team I have fielded.

But what I really want is for you to KILL MR. COMPUTER. Please.

I have the most recent update which has Bryce Harper in it, but on my team when I sim games in the schedule or fast forward games in the game, Bryce Harper automatically gets taken out and a different player, usually Colby Rasmus, gets subbed in for him.

When you go to set up a franchise the game creates random scouts, and most of the time the scouts are freakishly warped and almost completely useless. I have been restarting my franchise quite a bit lately because so many updated rosters have been coming out. The first thing I do now when I go to start a franchise is I go and check the scouts. If they are useless I delete the franchise and start over. I just tried to start a franchise and I restarted it at least 20 times.

Seriously, man. This is just like last year when you had to restart your franchise over and over again if you wanted a 6 year contract. If you were planning to start a franchise that played the National League game you would get franchise goals like "lead the league in home runs", which you would never meet.

Can we get a nice rational group of scouts to choose from? Wasting my time starting and restarting my franchise like pulling the arm on a slot machine really kills the thrill.

Whats the bug?

When I trade for a player or sign a free agent the game puts that player on my MLB roster and adds him to my 40 man roster. This causes me to have to send him down, which uses a minor league option, and remove him from the 40 man roster. If the player is out of options I am forced to put him on waivers. This can result in losing the player to another team.

This is particularly galling when the player is clearly not of MLB caliber. The player should not have been put on the big team to begin with.

I thought that teams brought players into their organization through the farm clubs.

It just happened when I started this particular game during franchise mode.

Dunno, sorry. I ended up quitting the game and it hasn't happened since. For all I know, I accidentally entered a cheat code and this happened.

Exhibition Mode/ Play Now

I havent changed anything in my game except for downloading this weeks roster update (June 18).

The last two games I am playing the Nationals. Yesterday they put Roger Bernadina in to pinch hit in the bottom of the 6th. Then bottom of the 8th they put Roger Bernadina in to pinch run which obviously should not have been allowed. Playing today vs. the Reds they put Miguel Cairo in to pinch run in the bottom of the 7th then he comes in to pinch hit in the bottom of the 9th.

I never had this problem before and now it is twice in 2 games. I checked the lineups to make sure they didnt somehow have 2 of bernadina and 2 of cairo on the team and they dont. Wonder whats up with this problem all of a sudden.

Update: June 22: have played 3 games since and had it happen in 1 of them. Checked the box score afterwards, but it only shows the player as doing whatever he was brought in to do most recently. The game it happened in the Reds again used Miguel Cairo (does it only happen with certain players?) to pinch hit this time in the 7th. In the 9th he pinch ran. In the final box score it showed Cairo as coming in to run, but it didn't show him as having an at bat. The game log however did show his at bat.

The lower deck stands down the third base of Nationals Park in Washington D.C. line lack any sort of collision detection model.

Any ball that lands in the stands beyond a certain point down the third base line (let's call that threshold past the third base dugout, for now) will have the ball go straight through the crowd, is if there isn't anything there but perhaps at ground level, and the ball will continue rolling/falling.


How often can the bug be reproduced?

Every time (as well as on PS3), provided that it's hit in that area of the stadium.


Do you have video or pictures?

Yes, and in fact I had refrained from reporting this in the past because it didn't affect gameplay at all... until now, when a ball hopped over that area for what should have been a ground rule double:

Bug: Brought in from the Bullpen in late innings, only to have the closer come in during my talk with the catcher/manager.

Game mode: RttS

Situation: My guy running to the mound after getting called from the bullpen is interrupted by the closer's animation as he ALSO gets called into the game. My game then freezes up.

Repeatable?: It's happened about 5 times during spring training this year.

After the last pitch of pre-game batting practice, I hit the X button to skip the cut scene. It freezes at that point.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I'd say very roughly about 10% of the time when I do pre-game batting practice.

Whats the bug? June 25th game, Blue Jays at Red Sox game missing (I'm the Red Sox). It looks as if its a day off.

Whats the bug? Hit a foul ball that should've landed out of play into the stands on the 3rd base side in Camden Yards. As the ball was coming down, it abrubtly made a bee line for the 3rd basemans glove resulting in an out on a ball that should've landed out of play. I checked the wind which is at 1 on the slider it was blowing 1 mph away from the field of play towards left.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....) Franchise.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Hit a foul pop into the stands on the 3rd base side at Camden Yards
