Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Do you know Bichette's and Warren's potential offhand? I have SCEA rosters, so ideally an age/position/potential answer would be the most useful.
And you think at least one MLB ready player (Phelps) needs to be included for Jurrjens?Comment

What do you guys think of this trade:
NYY (me) get:
Prince Fielder
Doug Fister
DET gets:
Mark Teixeira
Michael PinedaComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
If realism, no way on Fielder. Depending on how many years Texiera and Fielder have left, I would say it's completely unfair too.
If you want Fielder, you'd have to ship Pineda and at least another A potential player before I'd even consider this possible. And then you'd probably have to throw in another B potential or a guy like Robertson. There's no upside for DET in swapping Fielder for Tex. Remove Tex from the deal.
How many years does Fielder have left in your Franchise?Last edited by Heroesandvillains; 05-05-2012, 05:16 PM.Comment

Are you looking for fairness or realism here?

I was kind of going towards both realism and fairness. Im in year 2 of my franchise and in need of a boost offensively since i lost arod and jeter to retirement, swisher and martin to FA. I did sign David Wright to replace arod but have struggled so far.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Ok. Just cross referenced OSFM.
Warren is a C RP.
Bichette is a B 3B.
Phelps is a C SP/RP.
Is that really enough to get Jair Jurrjens (final year) from a last place Braves? I'm thinking they'd at least want a second B (or A) OR make me take some money off their books???Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I meant that whenever I mock up a deal, the bar fills up like it's $1 draft night when I enter any one of the Braves' struggling multi-multi millionaires (along with Jurrjens) to the equation. I can give "less," according the game, if I "take" more. Make sense?
They want prospects AND to shed payroll, and I'm the Yankees whom can oblige.
Now, you said depending on how he is performing. Did you mean Jurrjens, or my B potential player? Could you elaborate. Jurrjens is pitching wonderfully, by the way. One of the few.Last edited by Heroesandvillains; 05-05-2012, 06:45 PM.Comment

Sorry, that's not what I meant. And I know that the way the game works, I'd have to pay all of whomever I traded for's contract.

IRL Jurjenns is very overratted in my mind atleast, I believe that Atlanta missed a shot to get rid of him for something decent in the offseason, and now it looks like hes really hurt. His velcotiy is down and his stuff isn't the same, I think that Atl would easliy take that deal giving them some depth in rotation plus a long reliever and a guy who, if he gets his swing fixed, can be there future 3rd baseman after Chipper retires this year.Comment
