Hey guys, wondering what you thought of this trade the Angels offered me:

Mike Trout A pot. 20 y/o
Mike Trumbo A pot. 26 y/o

for

Kevin Youkilus A pot. 32 y/o
Anthony Ranoudo A pot. 22 y/o
Will Middlebrooks A pot. 23 y/o

That's more than fair, if not ripping you a little bit. However, it isn't too realistic. Sox might trade one of Youk/WMB, but definitely not both, more likely Youk. Ranoudo is highly unlikely to be traded, he's at worst gonna be a good #3 starter. Trout is never ever ever being traded. However, Trumbo's been in trade rumours. LAA wouldn't have a use for Youk though.

Do you think the reds would deal Billy Hamilton?

Also i was looking to trade Karstens for possibly a c lefty reliever and a c outfielder who hits well against lefties. Think thats fair?

I could see the Karstens deal happening, especially at the deadline sending him to a contender.

As for Hamilton I highly doubt the Reds trade him, unless you blow them away with an offer.

That trade definately probably would never go down, but to say Youk isn't a upgrade over Callaspo is asinine. A struggling Youkilis is better than Callaspo on top of his game.

When you have 30 team control, how do you choose which one is your primary team?

So I'm done tweaking my sliders, and restarted my franchise using 30-team control to avoid the many stupid trades I've seen during my testing period (hopefully, I set everything correctly). Got tired of playing with the Nats, and chose the Marlins this time.

I'm not looking to make a lot of trades, as I want to get familiar with the team first. However, I have two closers in my MLB club, and was looking to trade Oviedo. Is he worth anything ? If so, which team do you think would be a good target for him ?

I'm not expecting a whole lot in return, either some depth in the majors, or a prospect who could hopefully maybe be a starter someday. Any suggestions ? Looking for anything but a 3B, SS or RF.

I would trade him for a lefty platoon like player for 1B.Gaby Sanchez rakes against LH pitching, but so much against RH.That or 1-2 C prospects.

As far as which team, almost every team could use a solid relief pitcher.

Callaspo? Wtf? Is Mark Trumbo not their 3rd baseman in the game? Cause I would take Trumbo over Youk. But if Callaspo is their third baseman then they could use Youk.
