I'd don't believe it was twice in one season it was two straight offseason Milan ?? And ya he wasn't a great prospect at all, though he was included in some big trades

In 07. One of MANY pieces, for Haren. And then in 08, as a fairly decent part of a package for Holliday, however, that's generally regarded as a terrible trade.... isn't it, NFG4M? (Revenge for the Cecil comment! Muahaha!)

My point is, he gradually rose his stock up to untouchable. Amerista might. Doubt it, but he might. But none of your examples have worked. Trading for Amerista would he unrealistic. Sorry.

YOu said someon close to Frieri, and the rosters I was using had them rated close. THe reason why I said replace was because he's 34! He will retire soon!

He was traded twice in 2008!

As far as I know, ACMilan is correct. He was traded from the D-backs to the A's along with Dana Eveland, Aaron Cunningham, Chris Carter, Brett Anderson, and Greg Smith for Dan Haren and Connor Robertson. That was in 2007. In 2008, he was traded to Colorado from the A's in the infamous Matt Holliday trade.

I used wikipedia as my source as well. And I read that the Dan Haren trade took place on December 14, 2007, and the Matt Holliday trade was on May 30, 2008.

Dan Haren trade date is the final small paragraph before the big section that says "Major Leagues". Matt Holliday trade is under the section reading "Colorado Rockies".

Like I said, the website I checked had it wrong. I already addressed that, but it was less than a years time, so that was what I was trying to say earlier. Sorry for confusion!
