Would it be legit if they were out of it and they got 3 high A prospects in return? I don't think I could part with three of my best guys... I'm really just seeing how people feel about trades like that.
If your going for realism no ... He's untouchable, but if your not it'd take 2 A's and a good B

If you're going for realism, no. He was just traded to the Padres. He cost Erniesto Fieri, so probably someone at Fieri's level.

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

So like maybe a guy like Kevin Gregg and another relief pitcher? He was traded to padres with donn roach(wh was a 3rd round pick in 2010) and they are the padres' 19 and 20 prospects respectively. So he wasn't the only player in trade.

You can't trade Kevin Gregg. He is so worthless you couldn't give him away. I'd go two C's. However, you didn't answer; are you going for realism?

I actually am trying to go for realism, but they have other players they can play there like Cabrera and Bartlett. He is only a C pot, so it's not like hes there best prospect.

You've traded for Baumgarner, yet you're going for realism.

                  Seems legit.

                  Two C's.

I didnt trade for Bumgarner. I didn't think he would be untouchable because they have Timmy and Cain. Also when I did the trade on my padres one, no one said he was untouchable.

Also just because Amarista was traded earlier in the year doesn't mean he wouldn't get traded again. Ever hear of Mike Napoli, Juan Rivera, and Edwin Jackson? You should have because the Jays traded all of them not long after acquiring them!

                          Depends....

                          How is Carlos Martinez doing?
                          How is Shelby Miller doing?

I'd say he's untouchable. He's only 30, and been runner up for Cy young on many different occasions. I'd say he's more untouchable than Bumgarner, because the giants have Lincecum and Cain. Not trying to persuade you to allow me to trade for him, but he's never been great. He's been good, but Wainwrights been great for a long time. Again, I'm not trading for Bum, so don't think that's what I'm trying to do here, but I think he's untouchable.

I agree. Only under extreme circumstances would he be traded.

Really? I think if the cards were in last place this year he'd be one of the first to go. He is going to be 31 before seasons end.. 9 million this year and 14 million next year. In my opinion he would go if they were out of it. Not cheap by any means though.
