Depends on how realistic you want to be, as well as how other teams and players are performing. In my Mariners franchise I got Ian Stewart early in the season, he's got nice pop from the left side and can play multiple positions. I also swung a 3 team deal for Brandon Belt to play 1B/RF/DH, but obviously had to give up more for him. I really do enjoy batting with Belt, though.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
What could I get for K-Rod? I'm thinking about trading him to either the Cardinals or the Phillies (both are in the playoff hunt & need help in the bullpen)
K-Rod's stats 2 days before deadline:
3-3, 3.24 ERA, 48 SO in 41.2 inningsComment

To get back on topic, two B's for Peavy and 3 B's for Josh Johnson is OK, right? Forgot if you responded to that."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I didn't respond to it, but I'd tend to agree with that. Maybe a low A in there for Johnson somewhere because he's under team control for another year or two (if I'm remembering that right.)Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:
