I think Span and Pierre ranks higher than Frenchy on the Reds wish list as they're in search of a leadoff hitter.

I read some rumblings about Frenchy and the Tribe as well but that doesn't make sense to me as the Indians are rumored to be selling and are even considering shipping out The Choo Choo Train

Are the Mariners going through an injury bug period if they're looking for outfield help? I mean Ichiro, Gutierrez, Saunders, Wells, Robinson, Carp, Wilson. Not solid names by any means but I'd say the Giants are in greater need for an outfielder like Frenchy
I probably should have mentioned that I am using Scott's 3.0 rosters, so Ichiro is in New York already and Gutierrez is injured. Right now they have Robinson in RF and he is hitting about .220/.287 so far. I do agree that the Giants would be a better choice. I am looking for Pitching and perhaps catching in return.

        Yup I agree.

IRL however, Dayton is probably going to look for a bigger haul because that's his most prized player because he was the star in Atlanta.

I've heard that sound 3 times... once was Babe Ruth, the second was Josh Gibson, and the third was Bo Jackson- Buck O'Neil

Still I think 2 C's are somewhat of a stretch. Dayton should be awarded Executive of the Year if he pulls one B in exchange for Frenchy

Catching wise there's Olivo and Jaso to be had from the M's. Realistic pitching option for the pen would be League or Kelley. As for starters the only name I could think of is Noesi and that's a pretty nice return for Frenchy if you ask me. Maybe Noesi and AAA catcher Adam Moore (for depth at Omaha) for Frenchy and some D filler prospect?

The Giants want to part with Schierholtz IRL. Guess you might be able to pry away catcher Hector Sanchez in return as they have Tommy Joseph coming up in the minors. Don't really know any good pitching names for you to target within the Giants system. Surkamp just had TJ a couple of days ago if you wanna go the starter routes. Only RP I know of is Heath Hembree but he's valued highly so Frenchy wouldn't land him

The most you could get back for Frenchie is one low C and that's it, nothing more and I know NFG will agree with me

                      Struggling Frenchy = low C / two D's (depth).

on a contending ballcub, i can see Frenchy being the primary pinch-hitter...plus his defense is still pretty solid....he still has SOME value

Yeah, but he's struggling, so he doesn't have too much value. I'd rather low C, but if the user would rather two D's, to each his own.
