Yeah I just wanna stop the crazy trades.

Helton has two years at 6 million each

Yea thats another reason why I didnt want to give up Castellanos (who will most likely be major league ready by 2014) who is our top prospect AND give up Smyly, who probably has a future in the Tigers rotation. Oliver and Crosby would be more reasonable for me because they will most likely never find time in the bigs with my team, being blocked by Smyly, so it makes sense to trade them. AND a top prospect (Castellanos) and a major league ready prospect (Smyly) is too much to give up for what is in my mind a Set-Up man.

It's tough to judge this one not knowing if he'll ever turn out to be a solid starter

then yeah u can set everything to auto....compared to what he's making IRL, that's a pretty affordable contract...i guess it depends on if he's still producing at all

Cliff Lee is available in trade talks as of today. What do you guys feel he is currently worth?

I've heard that sound 3 times... once was Babe Ruth, the second was Josh Gibson, and the third was Bo Jackson- Buck O'Neil

Stats? A and two B's if he's playing like Lee.

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

One A and two B's...we did a rundown of some Phillies players a while back in one of my posts. Can't search easily for the post now as I'm on the iPhone but someone in front of a computer might be able to hook you up

The post was about a buddy of mine who's running a phillies chise and wanted to rebuild completely so we went through a bunch of names including Halladay, Lee, Hamels, Rollins etc

That's a pretty solid ERA with a ton of strikeouts so I'd say an A and two Very good B's

Ehh, I'd go A and a mid B. Or, three high B's. Shame that BWoodring9 isn't around much anymore.

Those sound like pretty good bargains. My Padres just put together an unbelievable run and we are back above .500 and 2 games out with our next two series against Seattle and Houston
