You're lucky you guys didn't lose last night lol... Goldy shouldn't be an A, and isn't a 3B haha, you would've had to trade Ike."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Yeah and I'm definitely not doing that. I turned it off when it was like 6-2 then went on ESPN later and saw we won 6-5. The day in the life of a Mets Fan lol.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Since we are on the topic of the Diamondbacks...I'm looking to improve at first base as the aforementioned Goldschmidt is not up to snuff (basically I suck with him). I traded for Matt Garza at the beginning of the season to solidify my pitching, but after seeing Skaggs and Bauer tear up AAA I decided to call them up about a week after the all star break. Both Garza and Goldy have been underperforming, so I'm wondering if you guys have any suggestions for a 1B that I could target and either trade Garza for or package Garza and Goldy. I'm five and a half back at the moment. Garza is 7-7 with a 3.79 ERA and 112 SO. Goldschmidt is .247 with 10 homers 37 RBIs. I'm about two weeks past the break.Comment

I'm looking at the Rangers. Darvish is 2-5 with a 4.26 ERA, Dempster is 12-8 with a 3.80 ERA, Oswalt is 1-6 with a 4.81 ERA, and the rest have 3.50+ ERA. They are 6 back in the wild card. Most of the other contending teams have a pretty solid 1-2-3. Maybe go for Michael Young (.278 10 HR 55 RBI)?Comment

u would be....what i was gunna suggest was send Garza to Texas for prospects then flip those prospects to a non-contending team who could realistically trade their 1BSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment
