Molina for Colvin straight up would be a rip off, but if you're fine with it, that.

I suggested a B pitcher because he said he was pretty deep there. Molina and the 1B prospect. Move EY to a CF/OF... I'd be alright with that.

I would rather see a RP to help out their bullpen (I don't see Molina making an impact for their playoff run this year)... but this trade works.

I have that, no problem. My pen has been fantastic...Molina is an in a couple of years guy. Would they prefer RHP or LHP? I don't know the 2012 Rox that intimately...

I'll look myself. You guys have helped enough. Thanks!

They have Rex Brothers and Matt Reynolds for lefties.. they usually only keep 2 lefties in the pen. Maybe you have a righty RP that would upgrade one of their righties in the pen?

From a fantasy standpoint, Colvin is good for 30 HR's next year playing a full year of regular AB's with the Rockies and half the games at Coors

He played most of the year this year and hit 18.

You need to find new projections. He is only good against RHP in Coors so 20 would be good for him.

Can't remember where I got that nugget, either an ESPN or CBS Fantasy podcast

He really only started playing consistently when Todd Helton went down. I could see him hit 25 in a full season with regular playing time. He actually wasn't too bad against lefties either (average-wise).

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

So I restarted my 'chise (for the last time) and simmed 2012. Went 66-96. In dire need of an ace. Soooooo... I took the advice from AC on Jeremy Hellickson's value (2 A's and a high C) So Here's the following trade:

                      Rays get:
                      Lee Shim (18 y/o A) Only "A" I Drafted in 2012
Alfonzo Cardona (18 y/o A) Found in FA luckily
                      Stolmy Pimentel (23 y/o C)

                      Red Sox get:
                      Jeremy Hellickson

Not the most realistic, but fair.

                      Just checking for fairness.

It's fair and I'm not discounting that Hellickson could be traded.

What do you think is fair for Josh Harrison of Pittsburgh? He's rated as a B potential but is hitting .229/0/11 in my franchise. I was thinking of incorporating LaHair into a trade with them. I'm using the OSFM Opening Day so the Pirates have a need at 1st base. Hague and Jones are currently platooning and neither is hitting over .230.

How is LaHair doing and what would PIT do to replace their utility guy? Are either of you contending or both out of it?

It seems fair but I think it might not be realistic

LaHair is at .297/18/67 with 33 doubles. Currently LaHair is starting for me in RF and Harrison is the Pirates starting 3B. Alvarez is in AAA which kind of explains their record. I've brought him up for them twice but every time they have an injury the send him back down. They also still have McGehee. He was starting and hitting much better than Harrison but for some reason is now riding the pine so he could be their utility guy.

I'm looking at this as an off-season move but for the record Pittsburgh is 30 games below .500 and I'm 13.5 out with 18 to go.
