I've seen a few in a fair number of games up 'til yesterday. I played as the A's vs Boston at Fenway & they hit 3 in one game. Although they did all hit the warning track on the fly, so it may very well have just been an issue with my pitching.

I don't see a disproportionate amount (I actually can't even remember the last game in which one occurred at all, but I definitely agree the ball bounces way too high in this game.

This is very odd to see how some are seeing many and others are not. All I know is that I'm seeing way to many!

From what I've seen the ball bounces off the grass as if the grass were concrete. On deep fly balls. It's a small problem one that I would like to see fixed but not at the loss of other "more important" fixes.

It depends on how people play too. My observations are from CPU vs. CPU games from all kinds of combinations of teams and ball parks, and I feel ground rule doubles are too easily hit.

On the other hand, you don't hit or give up doubles too often, you might not see many doubles to begin with.

But the aspect of the game has definitely changed with new ball physics though. I remember a thread last year talking about how it is ever possible to hit a ground rule double. I think it was much rarer last year.

I agree with that. I play my franchise in Manage Only Mode and see way too many. Sometimes 2 or 3 a game.

They're roughly 100% too frequent in my estimation. Have probably seen about 30 or 40, would like if that number was 15 or 20 instead.

I've seen at least one in every game I play (exhibition so far) or B.P. at the practice field... using TNZ sliders.

Not sure about the PS3 version as I haven't played it much but it does seem the ball bounces awfully high on the Vita version off high fly balls.

I play the PS3 version and I also noticed the high bouncing ball over the fence

I agree. Too many ground rule doubles and not enough triples. I have had maybe 3 triples in all the games i've played. I even upped the base running speed.

I'm currently playing rtts and I was thinking the same thing. I bet my guy has had half a dozen or more and I'm only mid way through my first season.

Seeing way too many as well. My last game I had three, just the team I control. Seeing at least one in most every game, usually more than one.

New ball physics have something to do with this?
