I just like to focus on playing my game. Pitching/fielding I'm just sitting down, relaxing. Hitting, you all would be laughing at me. I actually stand up in front of my TV and pretend I'm actually batting. Depending on who's batting is where I stand (lefty or righty in the box). It just helps me recognize pitch location better.

The only downside is sometimes I bring my arms around like I'm swinging a bat, its a force of habit. That's all I need is to accidentally let go of the controller. "This ain't a Wii, Dave.."

I'm usually drinking a few beers and I smoke cigarettes so I do that too lol.

I play on a 55" TV and i have a 32" TV that is posted on the wall behind my bigger TV. I have the volume lowered on the 32" TV and usually have ESPN or a ball game on while i play.

That is basically me... I play on a 42" Sony Google TV and have DirecTV (normally ESPN) on 28" set off to the right. Both are 1080p of course.

Usually have some music on laptop, but lately i've had Family Guy up on netflix. It's a mindless show that I can watch without having to.. um.. pay attention? lol

I need total concentration, if my wife or kids come down, I pause the game until they leave. My 4 year old son knows, so the odd time I am playing before he is in bed, he'll come and sit with me and watch and just asks questions about the game, which I am happy to answer. My two year old daughter when "playing" on her (and my son's) iPod touch asks everyone to "ssshh, cuz I'm playin'"

Throw my controller in the air several times and cuss a great deal during the game when something i hate happens. strike out on a pitch fifty feet up or outside the strike zone, or when i hit the ball really good but just end up hitting a ball to the fielder for an out... oh yeah and attempting to snap my controller in half some times as well

I dip. kind of a baseball thing i guess. when i played legion ball i would dip so its kind of the same. grante it was legal then even though i was 18

Do you guys have pics of what your gaming area looks like? I ask because this thread kind of reminds me of something like this.

Exactly what I was thinking. Perhaps a new thread for a pic of your gaming "Stadium."

I'm usually sitting in my leather chair that I move to the exact center of the room. That chair is located on a long haired white carpet from Costco. That carpet is sitting on dark hardwood floors. Those floors are part of a house in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The Chair is positioned in front of my 60" Panasonic GT-Series. 5.1 Surround, usually on volume level 52-53 (sweet spot). I've got my white baseball controller in my hands controlling the onscreen action.

I'm usually wearing sweatpants and a tshirt.

Food/Drink/Other: If I have chips/small candies, consider them as good as gone, I try to rock some veggies when I can. For drink, it's rare that I'll have a beer, although I'd like to do that more often. Sometimes I'll get "festive" which really puts me in the focus zone.

Oh, and my 70 lb bulldog loves to sit at my feet and watch the game. His name is Dexter. Here he is:
