I didnt try it online in regular match ups... But for online dynasty u can't use custom cameras... So using any custom camera is pointless for me if I can't use it in every game mode... Unless of course I'm missing something so I can have custom camera for DD play.

Started using it in franchise mode. Only one game down, but my strikeouts went down from an average of about 12 to 9. Some improvement is still needed, but this helps me see the ball better. It may have hurt my vision of inside pitches with RHB, and vice versa, but it's much easier to see the low curveballs and outside fastballs which seem to be much more common.

Re: G'MO's Custom Offset Camera 2012

Thanks for the camera view! I tried it out last night and really liked it. I always try different cameras every year and most of the time settle on offset. This does allow you to see the breaking pitches a whole lot better and to me I could see low pitches better also. I am a patient hitter for the most part and walked once last night, but had several 3-2 counts. One I hit a 3-2 curveball for a 2 run homer to left and another I hit a 3-2 low fastball to right center for a homer. Won the game 4-2 and really enjoyed the game. I was using Phsyco's HOF sliders. It was for me a little harder to see pitches in but I think once you get used to it it shouldn't be that much of a problem. Thanks for the work...Very nice!!

That's all well and good but I would like to know if you can use custom cameras online? If so why is it not working for me?

Thanks a ton, man! I found this thread late last night and set up the camera before trying it out in RttS. I was mashing the ball all night. I never would've thought I'd be using an offset camera like this, but now I'm not sure if I'll ever go back.

Re: G'MO's Custom Offset Camera 2012

I am a huge fan of the offset, and my question is how this Offset Custom Wide works for a lefty pitcher versus a righty batter?

Does the offset on the outer edge make the slider from a lefty as devastating a pitch as it normally would, or even worse as the angle is set on the outer half?

I can see that a Lefty pitcher who starts the slider right down the heart of the plate would give aright handed batter absolute fits, as picking up that pitch that would eventually end up inside, is going to be near impossible.

What are the early reports on this?

Excellent find on this camera angle. It helped cut me swinging at bad pitches by 90%. And it's equally as good against Lefties as it is against Righties. I am now competitive even on HOF difficulty. Thanks

The downside is the inside pitch with this camera. But just like in real life, the majority of pitches are thrown on the outer half of the plate.

If you struggle with the inside pitch or face a pitcher who has an extreme arm angle (same side matchup - sidearm pitcher)... You might want to set up another camera that is has a less extreme offset angle. Last year I had 2 other custom cameras set up for this very situation. You can see them in my post from last year ----> http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ball-best.html

Okay great. Like I said, I am a huge fan of the offset cameras, so I will configure the offset as you described, and run a few games through the mill...

I am 2-11 so far with trying to figure out batting angles, so this should be a good test.

Lol sorry bout previous post was wondering where that text went.... I personally prefer to be zoomed in a lil from catcher view and I center the camera on the pitchers release point cause in any camera view that's where I'm looking

Going to try this out. I need all the help I can get. I'm terrible at judging pitches.
